There are times when God calls us to do the hard thing and no, it might not feel very “convenient,” but when you come out of the process of doing what He’s called you to do, you’ll be truly blessed for it. But it’s not just about what happens after the hard thing is done. During your process, when you remain consistent despite what naysayers have to say and despite how you feel on the inside, keep in mind that consistency brings progress and you just might make a difference in someone else’s life because you chose to remain obedient to God through the challenges, the ups, and the downs that come with maintaining consistency for God. There are times when you might not be aware of who is watching you, and perhaps that person has never witnessed a person like you remain obedient to God when things got hard. Because of your obedience, someone else can have the courage to say, “Because he/she made it, so can I.” Moreover, during the process of building up consistency, strength for you will come when ask God to strengthen you. He won’t call you to do a task without giving you strength and grace to complete it. For Nehemiah, it was about him and his people who had a sense of the vision, building a wall, one brick at a time for as many days as it would take, until it was complete. As you are strengthened each day, you are reminded that God doesn’t just move in the exceptional, extraordinary times, but He also moves in the regular daily moments of life too! #StrengthForTheDay #BuildTheWall https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx8WNIJlm0X/?igshid=ok8panma51tx
