Despite the fact that he most certainly has a grudge against Regis, he doesn’t actually have much against Clarus or Cor. He thinks they’re fools for following a King who’s willing to throw away his people for his and his son’s own safety, but he doesn’t outright loathe them. So, that’s a bonus, I guess?
If you're still accepting fluff requests, Zenos and hair braiding? Letting the Warrior of Light play with his hair at all?
“For a battle hardened warrior, your hair remains flawless.”
Zenos gives a noncommital grunt, eyes closed as your fingers run through his hair. Your brush had been thrown out the closest window (with surprising accuracy), as he sat between your legs. “Do you use my shampoo? My oils?” you question, beginning to massage his scalp.
“Hmm…not that I dislike the sound of your voice Warrior, it is hard to formulate a coherent reply under your skillful ministrations.” he sighs, leaning further back against you. You can’t help but let out a light giggle at that, seeing a man so incredibly feared, reduced to mush with as something as simple as playing with his hair.
“Shall I braid it today?” you ask, already parting the strands.
“If it pleases you.” he gives your leg an affectionate squeeze, fully committing to the feel of your hands in his hair. “To answer your question, I use my own shampoos and oils. It has been hard I will admit, to find something of Garlean quality. I had to enlist the help of Scaeva of all people.”
You let loose a throaty laugh at that. “It would make sense Nero would be the one to go to for Garlean hair care.” Leaning down you press a light kiss to the top of his head, smelling the scent of lavender that is present. “I think you’d be the talk of the town if anyone knew your hair smelt of flowers.”
“Perhaps.” his voice is but a whisper, a small, unseen smile on his face.
On the subject of SCH, one of my characters doesn't summon Faeries. She summons a tiny little Nhaama and a tiny little Azim (that resembles Magnai if you squint) because she is part-Oronir through her father and was raised listening to his tales of the Steppe. You're right, the quests are not the end-all-be-all, and I wish more people accepted it. //HeroHikara-wol
I wasn’t the one who wrote it but I 100% agree with it. :) You do you. Also I think that idea is mega rad. I’m betting even the fairies were a construct of the imagination in Nymian times.
Edit: Come to think of it, who says you can’t make NEW soulstones. The machinists are doing it. I’m sure other jobs have ways of creating new ones (ninjas, for example). So maybe you don’t have one of the ancient soulstones, who is to say you haven’t been given or found a way to create a new one?

It would legitimately not surprise me if Solus had a copy of “The Evil Overlord List” and just selectively decided which rules he’d follow for every empire he started. No face covering masks is Rule #1.
//He absolutely does. This is headcanon now.
He misses his wife.

There, there. I know I get too busy for the kids sometimes too, it’s not a you thing. It’s an us-thing… Oh- that doesn’t make it better, does it?
Sad Clarus noises. A tear can be seen.
