DANTE ROSS INTERVIEW

Dante Ross has been a huge supporter and contributor to the Stretch and Bobbito show since day one. The former Tommy Boy and Elektra VP of A&R signed artists such as De La Soul, Brand Nubian, KMD, and Digital Underground as well as Ol' Dirty Bastard (who he discovered on 89tec9 after a freestyle session even before the Wu-Tang's debut album was released in 1993!). As a producer, the legendary New Yorker (he also skates) has made hits for 3rd Bass, Everlast, Santana, and received two Grammy Awards for work in 1999. Ross shared insight on the Stretch and Bobbito Show's impact on 1990's hip-hop culture, and of course added some snaps and laughs along the way!

DJ ROB SWIFT INTERVIEW

On August 8, 1991, Rob Swift of The X-Men (who later became The X-ecutioners), first appeared on the Stretch and Bobbito show. In 1997, the turntablist group released their debut album X-Pressions. The following year, the legendary DJ pursued a solo career and dropped The Albist. The Queens native has collaborated with artists such as Jay-Z, Linkin Park, and Herbie Hancock. Rob Swift shared his incredible experiences of how the radio show sparked his career for our film.

KOOL KEITH INTERVIEW

Kool Keith of the ground breaking 1980's group The Ultramagnetic MCs first freestyled on the Stretch and Bobbito show in May of 1991. The lyrical legend became a regular visitor and supporter, making exclusive promos and sharing hilarious tales for the listeners. In 1996, the Bronx MC went solo with his debut album Dr. Octagon. Keith has since released over 30 albums, and will release his new LP Demolition Crash later this month.
