yes! and i love it very much. i’ve been lucky enough to find several of them in my garden the last few years. hoping to find more of them when summer finally comes… more of them in this tag.

where do you find inchumon wasp and the slug eye parasites?

Is this such a personal question that you feel the need to hide your identity? Well, I find these animals in my surroundings in Sweden, mostly in my garden because I’m lazy. There are thousands of ichneumonid wasps all over the world, so finding them is mostly about being out in some sort of nature in the right season, I think. The broodsacs (Leucochloridium) seem to be less common and I feel really lucky to have found them several times. But mostly it’s about getting into the habit of looking very closely at things. There’s almost always something crawling around. (Except now that it’s winter and dark and frozen and hopeless here…)

Finally, three years since the first time I found a Leucochloridium infected snail, I stumble upon one in my garden! It’s now in my kitchen waiting for another photo shoot.
