Here’s a funny, kind of ridiculous story. I once got completely locked in on this idea — AU my ocs but as mermaids — and I actually tried to participate in Mermay more than once.

My the very 1st try (2023?):

I even went as far as creating headcanons — figuring out which character are what kind of fish. (lots of secondary characters as Sam, Eugene, Miley, I refuse to tag them all!)

Then came May 2025. That month, I was lucky enough to get invited to a gig. The musician who invited me took a look at my public telegram channel — and guess what was the latest picture there? This one ^^^
