I was born out of the U.S.

I dropped out and took a break from college for a year and half. (Currently back though)

My favorite book series is Demonata by Darren Shan. (Not because I thought it was the BEST, but because it was the first series I've ever truly obsessed over and looked forward to the book releases)

I do not like Asian food (I don't hate it either)--except for a few exceptions--even though I am Asian myself.

I've never seen Star Wars. Or read/seen any of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. (I know. The atrocity. Although I plan to change that. Least the LOTR issues. Probably not Star Wars though)

I've never been in a relationship. Nor had a real kiss.

I'm a major video game nerd/addict. Favorites are Kingdom Hearts franchise, FFX and The Last Of Us.

I've been in three car accidents in my life. One was major and the other two minor, but luckily, there was no real injuries to either parties.

I graduated top 3% of my high school class.

I'm twenty years old, and I still have stuffed animals on my bed?

10 things about me 1. I am a Dr. Pepper freak, regular not diet XP. It is my equivalent of morning coffee. 2. I am almost ambidextrous because I was born left handed, but my mom made me into a righty. She said she didn't want another weirdo like my dad. It didn't really work because I turned out weird anyway (and am proud of it). 3. I am a high school a teacher and the greatest compliment I've ever gotten from a student was: The best lesson I taught her had nothing to do with English. It was that it's okay to be yourself and to be different. I do lead by example (being a weirdo and all.). 4. I am inordinately interested in Ancient Rome. I have been since I was a small child, and have no explanation as to why., other than maybe I was a legionary soldier in several past lives. 5. I love to walk in the woods and pastures near my home. It lets me get away from everything (and everyone) and decompress. 6. My current celebrity crush is Max Martini. (God, Pacific Rim is so full of hot guys!) Now my husband and I are watching The Unit. (I can't wait to see the last season of Sons of Anarchy, and am thinking about getting either Luther or season 6 of True Blood next.) 7. I read a LOT, but don't necessarily like "classics". My two recommendations would be anything by James Rollins or the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. 8. I can be pretty crafty, but I wish I had real artistic talent- being able to draw or paint so I could bring all the cool things in my head spawned by my very vivid imagination to life. 9. I am a tetrachromat- which means I see more colors than most people, having 4 cones in my retinas instead of three. Which explains why people often look at me strangely when I describe something's color. (Google tetrachromat test and go the x-rite online color challenge to test yourself.) 10. I loooove Italian food, but ironically the closest big city, Austin, TX, is sadly lacking in good Italian restaurants. 3 of my faves (Romeo's, Tree House, and Cannoli Joe's) have closed in the past couple of years.
