THIS IS STRIKKS

STRIKKS is a design studio and label for the development and making of designer knits, located in Maastricht, The Netherlands. It is a lab for researching the possibilities of knitting and production processes.

We offer a collection of clothing and interior products that are knitted, or that have a clear link to the knitting technique. Knitted pullovers, cardigans, scarves, pillows, throws or bags. Each product you buy, is not just one of many. We produce limited editions and special requests made to measure. Find out more about our collection.

Blanket 'FOLDED' in De Volkskrant Magazine! 

Op 30 november stond onze deken in De Volkskrant Magazine! 

Dit schrijft het Volkskrant Magazine over onze deken: "Ooit spijt gehad van een aankoop met een te goede kwaliteit? Nee toch? Houd die gedachte vast bij het lezen over de FOLDED deken van ontwerpstudio STRIKKS. Deze wintervaste, niet kriebelende, zware kwaliteit wollen deken is gemaakt voor een avond tv-kijken. Wie de deken opvouwt volgens het ingebreide vouwpatroon, eindigt met een ruitvormig sieraad op de bank. In blauw, grijs en taupe.  140 x 200 cm, tot 31 december €299,95, daarna €329,95."

Deze dekens zijn momenteel in productie. Er zijn er nog enkele te bestellen in onze webshop, en zullen begin februari geleverd worden. Mocht u vragen hebben, mail ons dan gerust op [email protected]. Uiteraard houden wij u ook hier op de hoogte van dit proces. 

U kunt de deken enkel en alleen bestellen in onze webshop (betaling via Paypal en creditcard) of in de Nederlandse webshop Markita (betaling mogelijk via IDeal). Uiteraard is een directe mail naar [email protected] ook een van de mogelijkheden.  De deken is momenteel alleen te zien bij Crafts&Co in Maastricht.

Blanket 'FOLDED'

STRIKKS it's newest product went live during Dutch Design Week Eindhoven! A blanket with a twist. 

NED | Tijdens Dutch Design Week presenteerde STRIKKS haar nieuwste product voor de eerste keer aan een publiek. Blanket 'FOLDED' is een deken met, zoals wij dat graag noemen, een 'twist'. Volg je de vouwlijnen die zijn ingebreid, dan is het resultaat een deken die opgevouwen ook heel speciaal is. De vorm die overblijft is namelijk de basisvorm van veel klassieke breipatronen (en van ons logo!).

CRAFTS & CO

Zojuist geopend! Crafts&Co in Maastricht. Een nieuw winkelconcept, waar ontwerpers en kunstenaars hun eigen shop-in-shop hebben. Waar je de collectie van STRIKKS vindt maar tevens ook een heleboel andere mooie spullen. Doe je jas uit, ga lekker zitten met een kopje thee in het Theehuis, en geniet van de fijne dingen om je heen. Dat is slow shopping!

DUTCH KING AND QUEEN IN MAASTRICHT

And STRIKKS was part of the show! On June 12th, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited Limburg. They made a boat trip and passed several presentations of typical Maastricht organizations.

Fashionclash presented 10 local designers in a royal setting, next to the river Maas. In this setting,  STRIKKS showed a "royal" shoulder piece and a grey dress with voluminous hips.

THIS WAS FASHIONCLASH

On June 1st, during Fashionclash Maastricht, STRIKKS presented new collection items in a catwalk show.n

Theme of our show was "Sketchbook, pencil drawings, shaded greys". We designed big knits and fine knits, with yarns in different qualities. Wool, alpaca, camel, mohair and cashmere fibers, cotton-viscoses and even silk-lurex. We invented several colour gradients in grey tones, and designed patterns accentuating the shades and pencil strokes.

The result is an overall collection of pullovers, cardigans, dresses and accessoires. For winter and for summer.  For your wardrobe and your home.
