Her skin begins to prickle as she approaches him. She will have to work hard to make the one-hour-window she promised Dr Gundersen – his concussion is more severe than she had counted on.
It makes sense, of course. He is probably from the construction site in Area West. They’re rebuilding the top levels of the university there so that they will be able to use that building for their educational goals again in the near future. The work they do there is no joke, and neither are the materials they use.
