So, while practicing archery this past Sunday, I had a bad shot, and my bow string grazed against the upper part of my bow arm. I'm still playing around with my form, and I must've drawn too much from my back, which caused my string to hit where it did. It didn't look bad a couple hours after, but upon closer examination, it had grazed a slightly larger superficial vein, so the bruise got really big, despite my efforts to apply ice to it to construct the blood vessels. Oh well. You live, you learn. The bruise is turning more blue around the edges, and kinda yellowish in some spots, so I know that it's starting to go away.
