L E T T I N G G O . . . What does it mean? How do we do it? Why do we have to do it? In the same way that the trees shed and let go of their brown and dead leaves it is considered healthy for us as humans to let go of things that hurt us. If those dead, brown leaves remained on rhe tree, the tree would be held back from growing new, revived green leaves. It is the new leaves that take nutrients from the elements back to the trunk and feed it goodness... So, how do we let go? Well, I am in the process of letting go of past hurts...so, what I do is through meditation and I am not that great at this so bear with... I have learned that if I keep hanging on to the hurt then it keeps hurting me. To resent someone or some thing means by the very nature of the word, is to 'REFEEL' so I continue to feel that hurt...does that make sense...? So, be like a tree and shed the hurt and anger feelings and make way for new experiences to help nourish us in order to grow. # languageoflettinggo #let go #moveon #cull #stripback #resentmentsarethenumberoneoffender #12stepprogram #mysoberjourney #mysoberlife https://www.instagram.com/p/Ci4NuhSo0wJea2417luOgc3wht33eXZgcnUTRE0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
