stripey-mouse replied to your post: Guess who’s seeing Adam Ant in May
is it you?
Yes! that must of been a lucky guess :)
1547. Muggleborns seeing the Weird Sisters and going “doesn’t Myrion Wagtail look a lot like Jarvis Cocker?” “yeah, and the bassist looks like the other guy from Pulp” “and those two look like they’re from Radiohead” “what’s going on here?”
Purple (though we may have spoken once or twice)
thanks bro. you too.
how how did you know/guess I was at falmouth??
oh god… so ages ago you mentioned exeter, and i had that in the back of my mind, but you also mentioned going to the freshers fair on the same day that my friend told me she was going. and you said something about fashion students and i was like…. hang on…. fashion students??? exeter??? OH WAIT

stripey-mouse answered your question:if you don’t have a language, you’ve lived alone...
I don’t have an answer but I wonder about this a lot
if you are totally alone for your whole life, i imagine that you would consider things in a onomatopoeia way? dog would be a gruff bark noise, in your head to refer to it... water would be the trickle noise of a stream, but rain would be the sound of a downpour. I think you might consider things in sounds and smells and touch...
but i dont think you could like
understand things or have proper conceptual thoughts?
how would you think about some sort of divine force? the sound and lighting of a thunder storm?? you can know it's vast and powerful and all around without language, but can you think about things on a level above sensational, physical world?
would you know?
is this what animals do?
