I’m reminded of one instance 2 months ago I was sat at an AA table talking about videogames i really liked, at the moment it was Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of mana 2). And this guy comes up and asks me about the games so I answered all his questions about why i thought the game was great and how much I loved it and was sad it didn’t even cross over to the states. 

The guy (who was clearly quite drunk and was talking to me for a good 10 minutes about such great games) then asked if i wanted to play some videogames with him at the game room and I didn’t even catch that it was like some date or anything and said “Oh I kind of can’t I’m working and can’t leave the table”. And the guy just looked Super offended and walked away.

I was quite shocked. And it took me a good half hour to register what just happened.

My nostalgic reminiscence about precious games were tainted by this man’s fragile ego.

Like, how dare you. Seiken Densetsu 3 deserves better.
