I come from Bluebell. [Smiles widely.] It is the town right across the mountain from Konohana. Have you ever been to Bluebell? [Blinks, thinking to herself of what those monsters must look like.] We don't have things like that where I'm from..

Bluebell, eh? [Shakes his head lightly] No— I can’t say I’ve ever been but I guess I should check it soon, make it a day trip if it’s so close to Konohana. [Nods] That’s right, you don’t live in a Kingdom— what er … “creatures” do you have, so to speak?

A fisherman? Do you catch them by hand? A lot of villagers from Konohana enjoy doing that -- ah, that's the village beside ours. [Blinks, her expression changing to a bit of surprise.] Really? You fight monsters? What kinds of monsters?

By hand? [Shakes his head lightly] No, I use a fishing pole— though that’s an interesting way of fishing, I think I’ve seen anything like that before and I have visited Konohana a few times … Hm … [Pauses before continuing—] Where are you from, Laney? You’re obviously not from the Kingdoms …

[Nods, his expression becoming a bit smug] Yea, I train against the Orcs, Daemons, and other monsters that tread into Selphia’s territory, it’s like a version of pest control, heh.

Oh now, you know better than to think you need to apologize to me! Don't you worry about it, you're back now and that's what matters here. *Smiles warmly.*

The ranch is doing fine, like always, so I reckon I am too - better now you're back, of course! Interesting, lemme see... fighting with a man acting like a 'hornless unicorn' count? That probably takes the cake for 'interesting' what I've been up to. Long story, not sure I get half of it myself, honest. But what about you, then? You've got to have brought some stories back with you, right?

[Blinks as the door slowly creeks open, staring into the darkness of the house with curiosity. Then, the man appears and her eyes shoot open.] Oh --! Well, erm, hi! [Smiles at him, lifting her hand to give a small wave.] I'm here traveling from Bluebell, where my father and I run a cafe, and, well, I'm giving out free samples! Would you like some?

*stares at the woman in front of him, looking as though he had just woken up. Listens to her speak, standing there in silence as he observed her carefully*

...samples...? You are not...a subordinate of the witch...are you...?

[poops-on-chase]

[Releases her hand and brings it behind her back along with her other arm, keeping them there while she talks to Molly.] Mm-hmm, you should definitely come visit. He gets so lonely some times, I think he could really use more friends! [Blinks, tilting her head.] Yes, I do! I'm the head -- well, the only baker there. [Smiles.] But, no, I haven't. I've never actually been to Flowerbud. Maybe it isn't a good idea I go there to advertise, then?

*cough* Oh what was that? Strange, I thought I heard something. Must have been the wind.

*nods her head, taking her hand back and crossing her arms over her chest* Oh really? Hmm, well I promise I will. Especially now that you've said that. He seems very sweet; it's a surprise that you say he's lonely. I'm sure a lot of people would like him.

Oh! Well, that's pretty neat! Must be a lot of work then, being the only baker. Worth it though when you see people enjoying what you've made.

*purses her lips, arching a brow* No? Oh well, no no, I'm sure Carl wouldn't mind. H'es a sweetheart; would probably enjoy meeting someone who's in the same line of work as him. Especially if you like tea. *lets out a small giggle* No, you should definitely go visit him and his family. You'd be missing out on meeting some great people if you didn't.

[Brightens up at the mention of Cam.] Oh, you know him? ♪ He lives in the cafe with us. If he ever isn't around his flower stand, you'll most likely find him inside. He likes to be cooped up in his room. [Giggles, reaching her hand out and taking Molly's.] I'm Laney~. It's really nice to meet you, Molly!

*smiles* well, I wouldn't say I know him, rather, I've met him twice before. He's very nice! *quirks her brows* Oh really? Well, that's pretty neat. I'll definitely have to stop in the next time I visit Blue Bell. *shakes the woman's hand, still smiling* It's nice to meet you as well!

Hmm, so I take it you bake things at this cafe, huh? A very close friend of mine owns his own cafe. Have you ever heard of Callaway Cafe in Flowerbud?

She smiled brightly as she looked across at the various wares, ingredients, and objects the young woman opposite her had for sale. Perhaps she could find some new type of sweetener… Or even a rare fruit she could make into a dessert! She continued to scan the items until she was addressed. Lifting her head, she blinked then smiled brightly, emitting a quick giggle and shaking her head. “It’s not difficult at all♪!! It’s quite easy, and a lot of fun — I enjoy it so much♥!” 

Laney paused before the excitement of talking about baking got to be too much for her, biting the inside of her cheek as she listened to the other girl speak with pouted lips. “Oh — well that’s a shame. Some people have knacks for certain things and not others. Being a saleswoman must really be your forte♫.”

"I hope so, otherwise I'll be out of business pretty soon..but it would be nice to learn how to cook, I think. I waste so much money buying meals from the inns and cafes! It would be better to pick up some ingredients, and make something out of them! Like sashimi or fried squid or something. What do you like to eat, miss Laney? I prefer Eastern dishes! They're just the absolute best. Fish is so wonderful~" 

"What ingredients are you looking for? Next time I come, I'll make sure to have something you're looking for in stock!"

Bright blue eyes widened at the gesture — at first, the young woman wasn’t sure who it was, but after a quick moment she smiled brightly. Looking up at him, she tucked a stand of loose hair that had fallen out of place. She would have to fix her bun again later…

“Phillip♪!” She said cheerfully. “It has been a while, hasn’t it? How are you? How’s the farm?”

“Bluebell is just fine, as usual~♫. The fall weather is coming and people are beginning to get a little excited about it. I know I am♪!”

 He gave a smirk at her amusement before lifting his hand off her shoulders and making his way to the coffee pot. "Sure has!" He said with a grin as he poured the black liquid into a spare mug. "Well you know, I'm pretty lazy, and it's a long ass walk to get here." Phillip said pointing at her with his mug before taking a sip. "Me, giant mountains? Nuh uh not so well." He chuckled lightly. 

 "Farms going pretty good though, here to pick up some fodder for the new cow I got." He gave an amused smile. "Darn thing eats like a fat man and it's only a calf." Phillip said with a brow raised for emphasis. "That's good to hear! Glad everything's going good. RIGHT, falls right around the corner! Need to buy more seeds." The redhead huffed. "Glad things are finally starting to cool down though. That major heat wave sucked after a while."
