49. What about voice? Pitch? Strength? Tempo and rhythm of speech? Pronunciation? Accent?
Keisuke has a deep voice, which goes a tad higher in pitch when he’s speaking gently and goes much deeper when he’s angry. it carries pretty well when he wants it to but it’s not so strong that people can hear him when he doesn’t want them to. His pronunciation is pretty clear, but there are times (read: angry, frustrated) where it gets a little muddled, but still understandable. Keisuke doesn’t enunciate each and every word he speaks, at the very least.
He doesn’t speak too fast or slow. It’s rather conversational and comes easily. When he’s thinking out loud, which is something he does from time to time, it’s a bit slower, but it’s more for him to work through his thoughts than anything else.
He speaks mainly in the Kanto dialect of Japanese, which is what he grew up with, though he picked up quite a bit of the Okinawan Japanese from his time studying in that prefecture.
When he speaks English, there’s an accent he can never quite seem to get rid of and he makes a little more effort in his pronunciation than when he speaks in Japanese.
50. What are the prevailing facial expressions? Sour? Cheerful? Dominating?
So, early on, his face was dominated by expressions of sorrow, despair, anger, and seriousness. As he progressed through the events of Kamen Rider X, Keisuke still was serious for the most part, but it was because he was focused on what was happening. When he wasn’t preoccupied with G.O.D., he would relax and smile more.
These days, he’s more often seen with his resting face which is neutral, but definitely alert. Other common expressions are ones of happiness, fondness, and anger.
