Hello! Luka Millfy here. The name might not ring a bell, but you probably heard of me and my crew in a way or another. What if I tell you I'm also known as "Gokai Yellow"? Permanent hiatus notice

Welp, turns out having five different accounts is too much for me to manage... I think it’s fairly obvious that I haven’t been having muse for Luka at all those past few... uh... months. So I think it’s better for me to just take a permanent hiatus now.

I’ll be keeping this blog up as an archive, but don’t expect any updates anytime soon. I’m really sorry to those I had a thread with.

Luka is still a character I hold close to my heart, but I think I didn’t really do her justice... Who know, maybe someday I’ll try my hand at another sentai muse again.

You will always find me over at hoshizora-miyuki and my other accounts, but I think that is it for me and Luka.

He patiently waited for the woman to finish his trasformation, that’s just normal courtesy of power rangers , and he could not believe his eyes

"That’s….THAT’S MY SUIT! WHAT THE.. Dude what’s going on?! Why are you in that suit." he was so out of it that he didn’t even notice that the suit wasn’t exactly the same. In fact this stranger’s suit had a skirt.

"Whatever it’s going on this is private propriety. I may not be able to trasform anymore but I can still fight you so just give up, sosia!!"

Swinging the freshly summoned Hayatemaru around in the air, Luka jauged the guy's reaction. The confused look on his face was the reaction she was expecting, however, what he said had her confused.

"Wait... Your suit?" She repeated.

The Ranger remained static for a few seconds while she was trying to figure out what that meant, then a logical explanation hit her. The man was probably one of those Power Rangers people. Those who inherited powers similar to the Super Sentais to protect Earth's other continents. 

"Well, sorry to disappoint you, but that suit is just a remnant of a Grand Power from a Sentai Ranger, so the suit might look a tiny bit similar, but it's all just a big coincidence, alright?"

He didn't calm down. No, of course he wouldn't. And now he was speaking about taking her on untransformed. She rolled her eyes so hard he would probably be able to see it through the helmet. Was being a reckless idiot a ranger thing? That was something Joe or Marvelous would do.

The woman's body started glowing before the suit faded away, revealing what Luka looked like without that mask on.

"Let's make it a fair fight, then. Come on!"

SUDDENLY... A PUPPY/KITTY HYBRID APPEARED! A PUPPITY IF YOU WILL! WHAT WILL LUKA DO?

"Aw, would you look at that? Isn't it cute?" Luka bent down to pet the little animal on its head. She had never seen something like that on Earth before. Maybe it was a rare specie?

Dustin ruffled his hair and sighed, it’s been hours since he started to correct his students scrolls. All of them messed up a lot and what’s up with this dude saying he wants to be a ninja like Raiden. Confused and tired he put down the scrolls, closed his I-pod and went to open the window for some fresh air. There he saw that… a BIG red ship floating in the air.  Right when he was going to jump off the window and go check it out he heard some noise coming from inside the academy. All the students went home and he was the only teacher there since the other where out of town for a ninja reunion.  he hurried to that noise and he saw a female figure that was checking around the academy. "Don’t move an inch! Who are you and why are you in this academy?"

Gokai Yellow was indeed exploring the place shamelessly, fully transformed, and not really realizing that she was trespassing. Even if she did realize, would she care, though? Most likely not.

Navy's last prophecy said there was a treasure around here, didn't they? So even if Marvelous and the others weren't interested ad had preferred to stay in the ship, that would still be more riches for her. And she wouldn't have to share!

She froze after being called out by some guy before she turned toward him, a cocky smirk on her face. (Not that he could see her face under the helmet...)

"Well, the place isn't as deserted as it looked. I'm sorry but I can't really have people getting in my way, you know."

She didn't intend to hurt the guy, of course. Just maybe scare him away. Her belt flipped open and a Ranger Key came out of it. Luka set it in her Mobilate.

"That's a ninja school, right? So let's do it the ninja way! Gokai Change!"

With a single twist of her wrist, the key activated the device, transforming her uniform into the one worn by one of her senior sentai rangers.

"You can still run away, I won't chase you, I promise."

 Back to Earth… Tendou quickly dismissed it and released the zecter from his belt, doing so collapsing the suit from his person.

"The disguise consists of a perfect bodily recreation, and complete inheritance of the victim’s memories.  The host generally does not survive the encounter."  He then pointed to her.  "If given the chance, they could transform like you do as well."

With that, he raised his hand, now pointed to the sky.  “I am one who walks the path of heaven, fated to rule over all— Tendou, Souji.”

"That sounds pretty creepy if you ask me..." Luka commented, pursing her lips into a disgusted frown.

She remembered some spies from Zangyack using similar methods. Impersonation was probably one of the cruelest may to fool somebody.

"So, admitting one of those things manage to get me or one of my teammates, you mean the copy they become will be able to use my Mobilate? Gross..."

As she said that, she stared at her transformation device. No way she was letting some otherworldly abomination take her place. There was only one Gokai Yellow.

"Tendou Souji it is then. Souji will do. Nice to meet you and all."

Yep, she didn't even have to ask, but he was definitely one of Eiji's buddies. Having hair like that was probably a Rider thing.

It was amusing to the pirate how the guy didn't drop the whole "mysterious hero" act and was still giving her some catchphrases even out of his suit. Gai did that too, of course (he had never managed to introduce himself normally for as long as she had known him), but at least she had to admit Souji, unlike Gai, actually managed to remain cool while doing so.

"So, seems like you don't have time to get bored. Is monsters all this town has to offer? I doubt we'll stick around for long."

"Ah, thanks for coming, but I’m done dealing with these… things, already."

"I know that kind of getup, though. You’re a Kamen Rider, aren’t you?"

"I had my own problems to deal with, I didn’t come here to help you."

"It would appear that with your presence in the city, both by you and the creatures you fight against, worm have been taking the opportunity to come out in greater numbers."

"I’m here to warn you and your people that they imitate humans, and strike when one is alone.  Stay on your guard."

"Man, what a pain... And we came back to Earth just to get some vacation too..." Luka commented, spinning her saber around with a hand. "At least, these were nice enough to appear in a pack."

The Sentai Ranger watched her surroundings. Since no other enemies seemed to be around, she canceled her transformation, and started stretching, and scratching her neck. It had been killing her while she had her helmet on.

"Wait, you say they disguise as humans? I'll make sure to warn my teammates about that. Thanks for the tip! Anyway, you're the protector of this town, right? What's your name?"

"If we go by civilian identities, my name's Luka Millfy. Otherwise, that will be Gokai Yellow for you."

"Yeah, I know what you’re gonna say. It’s not everyday that you see flying ships on this planet, let alone people coming out of it… Can you stop staring at me like that, though?"

"Actually, I was more trying to check if you had a license plate. Then again, you Gokaigers are always known making your way outside the law, right, GokaiYellow? And before you start asking questions…." Kai takes out his Galactic Union Police badge.

"Wait, how do you...?" Luka started, before the man took out his badge. Oh... Another space cop, just like Gavan. Why wasn't she that surprised?

The first thing that crossed her mind was that the six of them might have to talk about the whole "we don't care about secret identities" thing after dinner, tonight. It wasn't the first time someone from the police was bothering them.

Luka shrugged it off. What would this guy do to her anyway? Like, they were doing their jobs as Sentai Rangers, after all. They weren't going to be arrested for a missing plate.

"You know, the SPD is letting us off the hook for a whole bunch of things. Can't you guys do the same? You wouldn't want to seem to be more of an ass than the team of a guy who literally calls himself the Guard dog of Hell, would you?"

What kind of pirate would legally register their ships anyway?

"I get it. The whole "secret identity" business, I mean. My friend Gai told us a lot about it, but we never felt like we had to comply to it, personally." She shrugged. "We’re not even from this planet anyway, so we have no one to hide who we are from."

Luka perked her head up when Haruto mentionned Fourze. Now, that name was familiar to her!

"Oh yeah, that’s rockethead alright! I mean… Gen-chan. Yeah, he didn’t seem like the kind of person to bother with things like this."

When they arrived in front of the shop, Luka had to admit that she was a bit… disapointed. It looked way smaller than she thought it would be. Was the owner going to be able to pay for those stones? Will they even want those stones to begin with?

"Nope, not changing my mind!" She announced proudly. "I have more of these than I know what to do with. You can literally bend down and pick a handful of those stones on my planet… Since you know the owner, though, I should probably not tell you that." She giggled.

"That is one way of looking at it. But if someone really wanted to find you, they would do so, even if you did have a secret identity.” Haruto remembered the one time when he was wrongfully accused by the Space Sheriffs of some nasty incidents involving magic, and how they knew that he and Wizard were the same person.

Haruto opened the door for Luka, and as he held it open, he could picture kids skipping rubies and diamonds across a pond, instead of rocks.

As if on queue, Shigeru Wajima came from the alcove where he had his work station set up. "Ah Haruto, you’re back. Rinko-san came by when you were away, and she …" When he saw that there was another person in the room, he immediatly changed his tact. "Forgive me, miss, I am Wajima Shigeru, the proprietor of this antique shop. How can I be of service to you today?"

"Yeah, almost all our sempais got their other identity known of the public." Luka commented, remembering how Miss Tatsumi's other identity as GoPink of the GoGoV was told to her by civilians. "Guess there's a point where a hero has to give up trying to keep their appearance of a tranquil life, right?"

She followed the mage inside. She didn't doubt a single second that this really was an antique shop. The stuff in the windows sure looked like they belonged like such a place. When he opened the door, she could also tell that it smelled like an antique shop.

Luka stood behind Haruto after they both entered. When Wajima arrived, she greeted him politely. He looked exactly like what she would imagine the owner of an antique shop to look like.

"Hello! Oh, nice to meet you, Mr. Wajima." The pirate said, putting a hand in her pocket. "I came here today because I have... several old jewels I would like to sell." She took a handful of colorful rings out of her pocket. "Haruto told me you really liked rare minerals, right?"

"Among all the yellows and white, I also have a few orange suits. Like this one. The hat is kind of heavy, but it’s easy to move. After all, the Battle Fever rangers get their powers from dances, so the suits have to be flexible"

There was a flash and Luka returned to her original Gokai Yellow suit.

"Want me to show more of these?"

"Yeaaah we’d probably be would be. Still it’s a fun thought, you know?" Kousuke replied with a laugh before excitedly watching her change her forms.

"ooooh. So it’s from your belt. That’s how you get those keys. That’s cooool." He seemed so excited as he.. okay it probably was really awkward him staring at her belt so intently but obviously it wasn’t for perverted reasons to be staring at that area. He was curious about how it worked, how it knew just what key she wanted and brought it there from hitting it. That was just so neat!

"I just switch using my rings… they don’t completely change me like yours do. That’s neat." He kind of blushed a bit before scratching his head. "Ahhhh.. I think I got a bit too excited. Other than for my hyper form, Beast doesn’t have any huge changing forms of any kind and I guess I’m a little jealous."

"Yeah, right. Always thought you guys really lacked some teamwork. Maybe forming a team, even if it's by name only, will help some of you work better? From what I've heard from the SPD, what happened in Zawame last year before the Global Freeze was a disaster because none of the kids involved worked together..."

Luka started glaring at Nitoh, from under her helmet, when she noticed he was taking a dangerously close look at her crotch. Even by knowing what interested him was her belt, it was kind of inappropriate.

"Erm, if you want to know how it works... My belt is linked to the Treanger Chest in our ship where all the Keys are kept. I just have to think about it, and...."

Click!

The belt's buckle spun again, revealing another key. Without looking down, Luka could tell:

"This is Kiiranger of the Gorangers, right? He has three red stripes on his chest and his helmet has a single line at the eyes' level. Well, enough about me! You said you could change forms, at least partially? I'm curious about that!"

"Stuff are getting festive around here. I think I'm really digging this christmas thing."

"I wonder if Gai will do that thing again."
