"I am everyone's X Rider!" Independent Jin Keisuke RP blog. Please read Rules and About pages.
OC, fandomless, crossover friendly
semi-hiatus, trying to get back on regularly
It’s been far too long and I really need to clean up the place, but I’m trying to effectively be back?
I’ve gone back to school so that puts some spanners in the works before I even begin, on top of still being a full-time worker, so who knows.
I’m going to essentially start this blog from scratch, clearing the relationships, verses, etc. I’ll keep my old posts, but they are stricken from my rp canon for the character.
Jin Keisuke, was right there. The man xe was trying so hard to fine ended up finding xem and it seemed that he doing so wasn’t exactly in the benefit for the young Rider. Was he already, what happened in the images, did that already happen? Was xe too late?
The thoughts were stopped sudden at the feel of his breath against xyr ear, making the whole body tremble. Goosebumps formed on much of the visible skin while a little gasp escaped xyr lips. Why was xe such a romantic sometimes? Dammit this isn’t the time for it! Not while you’re finally able to pay attention to what’s going on. Not while your head is finally getting less fuzzy!
Holding the booklet tight, Rorry tried to fight him, a sudden energy welling up from within to try to not let xemself be taken so advantage of. Xe had to escape. Maybe find that man who ran that cafe and see if xe could get help. There had to be a Kamen Rider some where in this time xe could talk to.
Xe had to do something!
Trying to free xemself seemed hopeless however, the cyborg’s strength compared to xyr human one, but none-the-less xe tried. Oh Rorry tried.
“I’m not going with you Jin!” Xe didn’t realize Jin was the surname not first name since Japanese was still so tricky for xyr. Though the next line was full English, the fear that raged through xem made trying to translate it too difficult.
“Leave me alone you cyborg mess. I.. need to go home.”
The car door opened as they neared the vehicle. The resistance put up by the target was, even by human standards, weak. Keisuke even lightened his grip on the person because of how little effort was needed to contain them. Their attraction to him was very useful, indeed.
He paused briefly when xe exclaimed his surname. That was something this little one should not have known at all. His grip returned to the original strength: vise-like, yet not to the point of harm. His body stiffened enough that his captive would notice the pause.
He would simply continued as before had he not heard the next line--in English--mentioning his status as a cyborg. How did they know that? How did they know that?! Keisuke’s frown deepened as he pushed the now yelling person toward the car. He had his orders to treat them like royalty. He’d be damned if he didn’t follow that directive. “You’re going to be home very soon,” he responded, voice strained. He tried to keep the seductive tone but knew he failed at that.
“We’ll be home before you know it.”
The car was so close now. He just needed to get the two of them inside and close the door. Then, they’d be off to his mansion. Things should go much smoother after that.
I’m going to try to respond to some threads I’ve got in my drafts that I know are still going and if they’re not, then I might respond to them anyway.
It’s been a very long time since I played Keisuke and I will likely be very very rusty in doing so. Please bear with me as I get back into the swing of things.
Expecting the cyborg to take the drink was of no surprise. After all, he didn’t ever seem to have to worry about issues of poisonings or anything of the like. Plus the man had such a sweet tooth, how could he pass up such a sweet based coffee full of the sugar he needed to taste it?
Though it wasn’t like Apollo Geist was really all that worried about the reaction of Keisuke to the cup. He was still in his chill relaxed, only just woke up, mode and that was one of being very patient. It was probably the case because of it why his men always were fighting over who’d be on the morning crew with him and who’d be on the night since everyone preferred to deal with him in this state than his usual on-point attitude.
A smile, of geniune and the farthest from evil, went across Geist’s face as Keisuke did take the cup. He knew, if he was sure of his knowledge, if that man took a sip there’d be no way he’d dislike it. Even knowing it, the reaction of the man made his smile grow a bit larger when he heard the honest compliments from the very happy seaborg.
“Making my own brews of coffee is something I enjoy to do in my free time, along with other things. It’s better to share a cup than to have such good beans all solo, but I don’t really think the people I work with are worth wasting them on. Maybe the cheaper beans but these are much more expensive..” Geist was starting to ramble a little but as he did he seemed very proud of his coffee habits, “and much more worth keeping for people who’d enjoy their tastes.”
Keisuke bit harder on his cheek, preventing him from speaking again immediately after Geist started mentioning brewing his own coffee. It reminded him of Tachibana. It reminded him of his time fighting G.O.D., spending as much time as he could with the old man. Avoiding his home had been key back then. He didn’t want to remember his father too much.
“I wouldn’t have expected you’d be so concerned over who drank what kind of coffee,” he muttered. He cast his eyes back toward the door as he took another, oh-so-heavenly, drink of the brew Geist had made. The sugar was just perfect for the already present sweetness.
But, the Rider did want to get out. Geist was not being his usual self, in Keisuke’s opinion, and he certainly didn’t want to overstay his welcome. Sure, he liked the times where they didn’t fight, but Keisuke couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable. It was like any time they met off the battlefield or at any point when either wasn’t expecting it, Geist is more friendly. Keisuke wasn’t sure if he could trust him, or if caution was the better response.
It was Geist, after all. The guy who could kill him in an instant if he wanted to. The guy who Keisuke was glad never fought him seriously. The man who was still currently topless and apparently hadn’t noticed. The man whose body seemed to have no end to the amount of scars present on his body.
Keisuke’s eyes widened a fraction before he diverted his gaze. He stared intently at the floor beside Geist’s feet. “Then again, this still proves how little I know you.”
He covered up that practical invitation to meet more off duty by shoving his face into the cup and drinking more of the hot liquid. Keisuke found himself swallowing it down a bit too hard, though his body handled everything perfectly. “I should probably leave after this coffee,” he mentioned. “I don’t want to ruin the, uh, rest of your day off.”
Another drink, this time to hide the faint color blossoming on his cheeks. He couldn’t believe just what he was saying. It almost sounded like he did want to be on friendlier terms with Geist.
It’s true, it’s been some time since the two last spoken. They spoke that one true time in the runes of the Apollo Palace, long believed to have been forgotten. This the time two met and it was a more planned and purposeful event. Planned by the head in his robe unable to be seen while the other agreed without regret as soon as he received his letter.
This would be an important moment for him after all! A moment where he would officially, beyond what he was before, become not just a servant who worked beside Geist in what groups he assists.
This would be the moment that Keisuke Jin would officially promise to serve and obey Great Leader and be one of his followers. This was the day he would have the ritual to vow his loyalty to the man before him.
Last time they met, Great Leader gave the man a mission. Something to prove himself to him. This time, that work paid off to lend himself well to his leader’s needs. He was accepted and his work complimented. He’d have his time and unlike many before him, his vows would be said directly to the face of the man himself. No talking to the glowing light that shined through the organizations emblem.
He’d speak to the man himself.
The hallway leading to the room where Great Leader awaited was full of guards lining every few feet. It was dark. Light was mostly nonexistent but for the glow that came from the room the ritual would take place. A carpet lined the floor, red and trim full of symbols that only one well versed in the group’s mythology would understand. The walls in the dark hiding images of many of the past generals that worked beneath Great Leader in honor of their work. Though many held x’s in front of their image in colors to signify a traitor, a death, or a loss of rank.
The room itself was filled in part with a smokey haze that covered the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. Making it feel a lot smaller than it is. The light came from candles that seemed brighter than their flames should provide while the carpet lead up to a set of stairs that held a throne at it’s peak. A throne of which Great Leader sat. Guards stood in each corner of the room, but never behind the position that Great Leader sat. A weapon in hand as they stood at attention.
A few priests stood ready and awaiting the man who came to announce himself. One caring a robe in his arms, folded nicely as he awaited. White in color with sigils down the back. Another held a ornate bowl, full of a liquid of questionable colour and a strong dark odor. Last of the priests held a book. The cover seemed made of some sort of leather like materal, tanned a darker brown and bound with string. The emblem of Shocker was stamped on the front in a golden paint.
They were ready and all were proud to see an ex-Kamen Rider bow down to Great Leader and vow loyalty to their master.
The letter surprised him. It arrived soon after he finished his mission given to him by Great Leader himself. He didn’t expect a response so soon. And one so favorable in the long run. Keisuke proved his loyalty. He fulfilled the task and gained valuable information for Great Leader. I didn’t die. What was the point if the Riders didn’t kill me in the end? He expected a reward of some sort, yes.
But not one that meant he’d actually be invited to vow his unending loyalty to Great Leader in person.
That was an honor not many received. Keisuke felt pride upon seeing the invitation. The location, date and time, all noted in a particular script. He was eager to show how honored he was to receive the invitation. Pleasedon’tgodon’tgo.someone please stop him(me) from doing something i can’t undo
The Kaizorg strode down the hall, face held in its usual neutral expression. His head held high as he made each step with confidence. Even with the hall as dark as it was, the path ahead was clear. The only real light came from the door at the end of the hall. The place where the ritual turnback turn back before it’s too late please I beg you would take place. On the walls he did make note of the various portraits framed. Most were crossed off, others left untouched.
Keisuke recognized a few faces on the walls, one of which was Geist. From how little he did recognize, it was easy to see how vast a network Great Leader had. And the former Kamen Rider was going to become an official part of it.
He entered the room, already feeling humbled upon seeing Great Leader on the throne. The urge to lower himself to his knees in respect grew near intolerable to ignore. Keisuke wanted to give him the respect his leader deserved, after all.
He did take note of the room. How it was presented. The hazy atmosphere that made the room smaller. The candles whose flames were brighter than they should. The guards in the corner who would likely kill him should he make a move against Great Leader. A death he would deserve if he had the audacity to dare attack that man.
There were three other attendants, each holding an item significant to the ritual. A robe, likely meant for him to wear. An ornate bowl filled with a liquid he could not completely identify with only a glance. A book bound in a certain leather with the emblem of Shocker emblazoned upon it.
He had no idea how the ritual would go. Keisuke only knew of the many who swore loyalty without anything particularly special about the occasion. He’d heard nothing of how it would go or that it was something few were allowed to take part in. It was a mystery and one he was honored to even be a part of.
Keisuke bowed his head deeply, first, at who would soon become his sole master. He was ready noi’mnotdon’tmakemedothis to become a most willing servant.
Sure, he didn’t have as super hearing as one of his teammates, but he still had better hearing than a human. Plus he had a sense of paranoia when things were just seeming wrong he just had to get mixed up into it to make sure it was a normal wrong and not a Black Ghost wrong.
How this whole thing was set up felt more like the second than the first and that was why he arrived. Sneaking his way through any blockades to get into the heart of the area.
Looking around, side to side for any cleans, the young teen tried to make heads or tails of what was going on in this neighborhood and find clues to its source. “What’s going on here..? This doesn’t feel right..” He whispered to himself as he searched.
He had to find the people ‘in charge’ then he’d be able to solve the mystery of this weird happening. He didn’t quite care about being seen or caught since, well, that might help him find the truth faster.
Keisuke watched the young man from a distance, hands in pockets. He needed to first gauge the threat level that was possible. At best, the boy would find nothing of value and leave. At worst, he might have to infect or kill him. The latter options were not the most favorable outcomes. But, he would do it if it was necessary to this test’s success. Nonono. I can’t hurt someone that young. I can’t harm him. he doesn’t deserve that
The boy kept investigating. Keisuke waved off the grunts, telling them to stand down. To not attack this interloper just yet. The kaizorg wanted more information to understand just what that young man hoped to accomplish sneaking around a practically quarantined area. As if he was asking to contract the deadly illness that spread between the neighbors.
Please spare him i beg you! Don’t hurt him, he’s doing nothing wrong.
It was the boy’s questions would have gone unnoticed by the grunts. Keisuke, however, had been equipped with the best hearing. If left alone, the boy could bring in others to help him investigate. The operation might even draw the attention of a Rider or two and the entire thing would likely end in failure. He needed to do something about it before it got that far.
He walked out from the shadows of an alley, approaching the boy from behind. He made a gesture toward the cyborg in charge of the virus to be ready to attack once the signal had been given. As soon as he was positioned behind the youth, Keisuke spoke. “Pardon me, but this area has been quarantined. While the illness doesn’t appear to be airborne, I’ll have to escort you from the premises of this neighborhood to prevent you from coming into contact with the people who have contracted it.”
It came out smoothly, of course. No flaw or lack of a hint of authority in his tone. His lie was, for all intended purposes, believable. If the kid had questions, Keisuke was sure he could answer them even without having prepared the answers in advance.
“I see. Your cooperation is appreciated.” He nodded. “Oh, but be careful around here. Some legions of Mechanoids, robotic alien soldiers, have been patrolling. They are a minor inconvenience you might run into a couple of time.”
As he said that, Doggie pointed at the scattered bits of scrap metal at his feet. Seemed like fighting a legion of those had been what had led him to transform in the first place.
“We haven’t found any sort of wave patterns in this area, except of course for our own communication lines. We can’t find any traces of a power supply either…” He growled. “This case sure is frustrating.”
Both giant robots seemed to be at a stalemate. The Alienizer’s mechanical beast successfully blocked every hits the Dekaranger Robot could try at it, and then tried to overwhelm it with attacks of its own, that the robot then avoided or blocked as well and so on. It all just seemed like one big stamina contest.
The commander turned around to suggest they got moving when a group of the enemies he had mentioned arrived in front of them in a well organized rank. The metallic grey creatures were led by a duo of slightly larger orange ones yielding swords.
"Speak of the devil… Hm? This group has Igaroids!” He said, pointing at the orange robots. “Those are capable of speaking and remembering complex informations.”
Doggie drew out his sword and turned toward Keisuke.
"I’ll take care of the small ones. I’ll leave the Igaroids to you. Don’t damage the two of them too much, we’re going to need the information at least one of these hold.”
Just as he was in the middle of his explanations, one of the Igaroids gestured at the rest of its group to start attacking. Doggie ran forward, his sword raised above his head to easily block and strike down the first couple of Anaroids with ease.
One of the Igaroids jumped over the Dekaranger and the footsoldiers swarming around him, and went straight to attack Keisuke.
The Rider bit back a comment on how it would be difficult to hide a power source for something that large, but it was possible, he supposed. The outer layers would just need to be the right sort of material to block any actual signature of any type of energy. “That’s definitely troublesome,” he agreed.
He would have suggested him going inside the enemy robot. He had looked at the Dekaranger with the intent of saying so. After all, it wouldn’t have been fixated on him so much as the other giant robot fighting it. And if it was purely mechanical, then Keisuke saw no reason why not to suggest his plan. But, they were interrupted by the appearance of foot soldiers.
Doggie called the odd ones out Igaroids. From the fact he was letting Keisuke handle them told the kaizorg they were stronger. Likely another reason they could speak and remember information. He nodded at the suggestion that he doesn’t do too much damage. “Right,” he said, falling into a ready stance. “The goal would be to immobilize them? Or do they not need to be active for you to get the information?”
Of course, before he could get his answer, the smaller robots were ordered to attack. Doggie rushed forward to meet them, blade ready to strike and defend. Keisuke moved forward to help as much as he could while getting to the orange robots.
As if knowing Keisuke would be a threat, one of the Igaroids jumped over the Dekaranger. Keisuke calculated its path of movement within the moment, stepped to the side and swung his leg in a sweeping kick. The heel of his boot caught the side of the Igaroid, sending it off course. It landed rough on the ground before getting up.
The Rider’s hand inched down to the grip of the Ridol before pausing for only a moment. He couldn’t use his usual choices for this fight. The Ridol Rope would be his best shot at dealing with them without giving it too much damage. That moment, however, was not the time for him to use that. He stole a glance at the second Igaroid as the first picked itself up. “I”ll need to draw that one in, too, if I’m going to capture them both with the rope.”
They might only need one, based on the brief explanation, but Keisuke would rather play it safer when dealing with an organization he wasn’t familiar with. So, he’d plan to get both Igaroids for Doggie if at all possible.
▶: A talent of the Mun's (besides RPing, of course!)
I don’t know if I’d call it a talent, but I do know how to crochet. It’s one of my favorite hobbies outside of rping, even though it does give my already carpal-tunneled-wrist even more pain. Yet here I am, still doing it.
♦: Relationship with your Muse.
My relationship with Keisuke is generally good, I guess. Aside from what happened that put me on hiatus/semi-hiatus for a while, he was still very strong for me, but just stubborn about being written for threads. The block between mun and muse seems to finally be going away. I’m not getting as bad anxiety about writing him anymore so hey there’s always that, too.
⊂צᘦՇণℊ} Driving through Hongo did his best to hurry, without breaking the laws of the road since the last thing he needed was a cop pulling him over or something when he had a person to hurry and meet.
A person, right, the last person left of the group. He felt lucky he even heard about the events in this city before the witnesses all were killed and he’d loose hope of knowing something happened.
He did his best to hurry more as he thought about it. Only one left, really, no, it was more important that anyone was in chance of being hurt but most important someone who could help give information to stop more groups of people from dying too.
Upon arrival he got off his bike, practically jumping off of it, so he could hurry inside to see if this Akiko person was still alive. He had to be sure before he relaxed, not that he was ever very relaxed but that was besides the point.
The closer Keisuke rode to the house, the more he noticed he was gaining speed on the bike that had passed him earlier. The same roads, the same turns. Everything about their route was identical. Suspicion coiled in his stomach as the two got closer and closer to the house.
He tried to reason that the rider simply lived in the same area. There were other houses, of course. Or maybe he was a friend to Akiko.
Or he was Shocker and Keisuke would have to fight him.
Keisuke bit his lip when he saw the man jump off the bike as soon as possible and headed to the door. He even asked for Akiko by name, which told him that there was a reason for his visit.
The young cyborg, at least, could tell he was nervous for her. As if he knew what was going on. Keisuke swallowed as he parked Cruiser a bit away from the house and approached his destination. That guy couldn’t be with Shocker, right? His body language spoke of anxiety and concern. Every Shocker person he’d encountered thus far had held confidence in their ability and mission.
He listened for movement in the house. The sound of footsteps approaching the door. Soft and light, though slowed as if telling of a person who’s cautious of what’s beyond the door.
Keisuke fiddled with his hands in that moment. He should approached the door, too. He should go up there and make sure she doesn’t get hurt by this stranger. Sure, he was a stranger, too, but he could at least defend her from just about anything. At least that’s what all of the modifications did to him.
Taking a deep breath, he dashed to the other man’s side, looked at him, and bowed his head in greeting. He tried to smile to break the ice, but instead looked away and ducked his head down to avoid having to look at the other. Under his breath, he said, “I’m here to make sure Ms. Akiko is safe. I hope you’re here to do the same, sir.”
I’ve finally got myself a unified tagging system which will make things easier when finding whichever post one might be looking for. I’ve also officially made a huge chunk of this blog noncanon, which are tagged accordingly. All 88 threads I’ve participated in are tagged according to the verse in which they apply.
Note: that if a verse has multiple versions, the main will be marked as “#verse:[verse name] a”
all threads will be tracked by their tags using #thread:[thread name], thread statuses will also be tracked by their tags using #status:[thread status], and the verse in which they belong as #verse:[verse name].
The Threads Page no longer has small summaries of the events of the threads, but any content warnings are noted for each thread.
That gasp, that little gasp. It was so cute! Apollo couldn’t believe he heard such a nice straight from the mouth of Jin Keisuke himself because of him. Even after all that’s happened it was hard to not still be surprised by ever turn of events that ended up different than originally expected. Especially at this point Apollo was wanting to keep him.
'You do that and I’ll get that coffee going.’ At least, that’s what he was trying to say. He only got to start his sentience before he had to hurry and catch the heavier cyborg before he fell over.
One arm reaching to grab around his waist, after all, it wasn’t all that far from it to begin with. The other soon was following suit, but reached around more from the waist to hold him from the front. Though in this position it meant the two cyborgs would be extremely close, held tight in Apollo Geist’s arms.
Trying to steady him Apollo’s head ended up resting upon his shoulder as he spoke. “Whoa, careful there Keisuke. Are you alright? Let’s get you sat down and I’ll find everything for us so you can rest.” His hair brushing Keisuke’s cheek a little as he tried to pull him back up into a more standing position.
“There’s a place to sit down close, let me carry you to it so you don’t have to worry about falling.” Almost as if it was just natural instinct, a gentle kiss of concern went upon the cheek of Jin Keisuke as he tried to work to pick up the man in his arms, to carry him safely to a chair.
Arm around waist. Hand on his chest. The brush of hair against his cheek. The weight of Geist’s head upon his shoulder. Keisuke’s mind zoned in on each sensation. It could process them, yes. His brain was easily capable of telling him exactly what happened in that moment in a very clinical and detached way.
Keisuke, however, reacted to each touch, each action, as though it sent a pleasant fire through his body. It was was if Geist alone was his source of warmth and the Rider craved more of those touches. He unconsciously leaned into the man holding him up. “I should,” he started, his words coming out airy and slightly slurred. He swallowed and tried again. “I should get the food out.”
But it was too late for him to really protest. Geist had kissed his cheek! A kiss! Sure it was something quick, but the moment his lips left Keisuke’s cheek, the kaizorg yearned for more. His cheek tingled long after the kiss had been given.
Keisuke’s strength left him once more and in time for Geist to pick him up and carry him to a chair. He buried his face (now completely red he was sure) into Geist’s shoulder as they moved. He was almost too embarrassed to look at the one caring enough for him to make sure he was sitting down properly.
Now that he was sitting, Keisuke still couldn’t meet Geist’s eyes. He was definitely an embarrassment. His father was right. He was weak. If he couldn’t even handle being called “Keisuke-chan” or even a light kiss on the cheek, how was he going to handle the possibility of going further! Like maybe a kiss on the lips?
He felt heat rising in his face again and he buried his face in one hand, keeping his neck craned down. Please don’t notice how pathetic I am, he thought, I love you too much to want to screw this up.
After a moment, he tried standing, even on his still weak legs. “I-I really should get back to the pantry. I know where everything is, after all.”
He sat in front of the mirror, brushes and makeup spread out on the vanity’s table top. A photo of the man Keisuke was meant to make himself appear sat angled against the mirror’s edge. A nice shot of the old man. No pipes, no smiles. Every line of his face as it had been easily noticed for Keisuke to mimic.
Yes, he was ordered to disguise himself as Tachibana Tobei. The one who assisted the first six Riders in their quests to fight Great Leader. He never met Tachibana personally Yes I have. He was so kind. I’m sorry pops. I’m sorryi’msorryi’msorry but that was alright. He knew enough about the kind of person he was to get the role right.
Keisuke took hold of his bottle of foundation, one that would suitably give him a base tone closer to that of Tachibana, and worked it out. He knew exactly how to contour his face, how to make convincing age lines. He knew how to style the wig that would be placed over his hair and how to make it look as though it was naturally his.
Please don’t do this! We can still stop please! Pops deserves better!
The kaizorg did not lie to Great Leader when he said he could disguise himself well. He’d had to when he was younger in order to avoid his father at times. He’d gotten very good at making himself look like another person. So good, that if you put himself next to the one he modeled himself after, you wouldn’t be able to distinguish them.
He made quick work with the makeup. Everything looking exactly as it should. The smile on his face did not suit the fatherly face that he now wore. it was cold and proud. The smile was twisted and full of the malicious intent that went into the reasons behind even going through this.
After all, these are his orders and the Riders wouldn’t be able to see through the disguise. Keisuke was sure that of that. They’ll notice. I hope they notice. Maybethey’llkillmemaybei’llfinallybestopped--
Keisuke tilted his head, inspecting his handiwork for a moment, making sure there was no flaw to be seen. There couldn’t even be a single hair that was out of place. Otherwise that Rider 1 would be sure to notice. He always seemed more perceptive than the others. He would have to be most careful about Amazon, should he encounter him, though. That Rider, in particular, had a more instinctual sense about those around him.
don’tmakemedothisdon’tmakemedeceivethemandwatchthembreak. Please slip up so they’ll notice. PLEASE!
He stood up and grabbed the blazer hanging on the hook nearby. He put it on, buttoning it exactly as Tachibana would have. He practiced emotional responses and listened to the voice samples they had on file. It didn’t take long before Keisuke sounded just like he had in the past. He also appeared somehow shorter than his actual height after all was said and done.
Keisuke was, after all, very good at disguising himself. And he was ready to share his skills with the Riders.
Oh, what information he would gather for Great Leader while dressed as Tachibana Tobei.
He blamed himself for what happened. He truly did. The words that had been exchanged between them...he’d never really raised his voice to her. He never defended himself that strongly against anyone before except for his father. And only then because he started being able to defend himself against the older man.
He felt awful as he worked on changing the many locks to his mansion. Giving her a key to the place had been his way to telling her he trusted her enough to be there. Trusted her enough to respect his unspoken boundaries. If only that had been the case, right?
Even though she had broken his trust, Keisuke felt like he was at fault. That he had been a bad partner by not talking about certain things or possibly withholding the truth. Sure, he said he didn’t need to divulge that information even if he had reached that level of comfort with her, but was that really the best decision?
Wouldn’t it have been better had he just shared it? Not gotten as emotional as he did? It was just his past!
And he could never really forget those words. His brain held accurate recordings of her voice:
"What kind of person doesn't tell their loved ones that kind of stuff?!"
"I'm not saying it's easy but...I thought we were at a point that we can talk about anything. Show the good and the bad."
"Fine then. I don't need someone who can't even feel comfortable with expressing himself!"
Keisuke yanked a bit too hard on the door knob, ripping it from the door. Wood splintered and cracked. The kaizorg cursed and threw the knob to the ground in frustration. He looked down at his hand for a long moment, took a deep breath, and leaned his head against the door frame. "I really am an awful person, aren’t I?”
Oh boy do I have headcanons for Keisuke. Most of them make me want to cry?
But, let’s see. I like to imagine that Keisuke can be rather shy when he’s in a romantic relationship with another person, especially if that person is very forward about their desires. But he likes it when they’re more direct with him because then he’s able to navigate the relationship a lot easier, considering how he had to have been raised by his father and likely never really had friendships growing up.
I really do like to imagine, and hopefully will be able to play this one day, should Keisuke enter into a romantic relationship again, and given that he have a partner that easily flusters him (like I imagine Ryouko had when they were dating/engaged), that Keisuke will frequently get shy, stumble over his words, and try to pretend he definitely doesn’t feel so strongly for his partner as he does, when his bright red cheeks say otherwise.
♥:One thing you love about your Muse.
I have to choose one?
I really like his laugh from episode 28 when he got to joke around a bit with Shirou after he defeated Spider Napoleon. it sounded so much more genuine and happy than we had seen up to that point. I’m pretty sure that was one of the first times he honestly was able to laugh since the fight with G.O.D. started. I want to protect Keisuke Jin’s smile and laughter at all costs. I will fight anyone who tries to take it away from him (including myself because I like to rp sad things with him hahaaaaaaaaaaa).
Oh geez this is a tough one haha! I guess one of my favorite parts is that I can explore this character and any other character I play a lot more. I can try to get an idea of how they’d think and act in certain situations and what could possibly have led up to their current points, especially for my older muses.
For the most part, it also helps me write and push myself into doing something a little different with each character. (at least I hope so!) I get to think about situations and their backstories that weren’t always expanded upon, if it even got a mention at all, and figuring out how that would affect them later on in life and how they’d approach any type of relationship.
I honestly love learning more things about my muses, too. I’m always on the hunt for more information when I have a gap and I fill in the rest with headcanons that I hope make sense and go along with the canon we’ve already got established for them.
