When she was born to her father, Windclaw, he refused to raise her and gave her to the other nursery queens to raise. She was nursed alongside her sister, Spottedkit, and a tomkit named Palekit. She yearned for her father's attention, but he refused to give it to her. She was the rough-houser of her denmates, always nipping Spottedkit and Palekit's ears, and batting around the younger Cloudkit, Morningkit, and Beetlekit. To hide her dissapointment at her father's neglect, she stoned off her emotions and acted aloof, better than the others. She had generic dreams of being the greatest warrior and some day leader.
She was apprenticed to her father's mentor, Silverspring, and managed to find a connection to her father through Silverspring. Silverspring would reassure her on her dark days, and tell her tales of Windclaw when he was an apprentice. Strongpaw worked hard to impress her father, and preened at each of his once-in-a-full-moon compliments. But she still soured at his lack of attention and his disdain towards them, and how he seemed to particularly ignore her sister, Spottedpaw.
As she grew older, she spent less time vying for her father's attention, and instead spending it with Spottedpaw, Palepaw, Cloudpaw, Morningpaw, and Beetlepaw. She helped her sister through her visions, and urged Spottedpaw into becoming a medicine cat. Her training under Hawkhollow and his unnamed mentor was short lived, as Spottedpaw hated being a medicine cat. Strongpaw supported her sister when she stopped being a medicine cat. Strongpaw found herself growing particularly close to Palepaw, and realized she had a crush on him. When they became warriors named Strongbreeze and Paletalon, she asked him to be her mate, and he accepted after a while to sort out his own feelings.
They went on to have a litter of kits, consisting of Tansykit, Bumblekit, and Stumpykit. Strongbreeze was very proud of her kits, although somewhat distant emotionally due to not knowing any other way. Paletalon was similar, but they both spoiled their kits in a 'they can do no wrong' kind of way. When they grew up, Strongbreeze was releaved to be back to her warrior duties, and decided she didn't want any more kits.
She supported Bumblepaw when he switched to becoming a medicine cat, and she was upset that Windclaw received Stumpypaw as an apprentice, but was devasted when her father died. But, it was revealed he attempted to kill Silverspring, and that Frecklespeckle saved her, and Strongbreeze felt conflicted bitterness in her heart. She still loved her father, and couldn't imagine him doing something so awful, yet it was the truth, and she had to accept it.
She had Sparrowpaw as an apprentice, and the ditziness and softness of her apprentice often irritated her. But, much as she tried to 'roughen up' Sparrowpaw, the she-cat always bounced back. Strongbreeze grew to appreciate and love the young apprentice, and was proud when she became a warrior named Sparrowdawn. Unfortunately, Strongbreeze passed soon after.
