Nathan sang KEMF with us a couple days ago at the palisades. It was recorded for us, along with the rest of our set. Nina sang it too, but Nathan is a mic hog.
It so strange and wonderful to have a group of people, some of them strangers, sing along to a song you wrote. I recommend it highly.

Reunited, and it feels so good. It was great to get the old band back together, even though we're all in different bands now. #Mirrored #DFB #RingsOfSaturn #Struckout #prog #metal #punk #deathcore (at Costa Mesa, California)
Tomorrow is the last day of my temp job. Matt made an ugly/beautiful poster. Message me for the address. This is going to be beautiful.

It’s weird that this was released a year ago and that on sunday we’re going to be recording demos for a new album.
This song is probably the most difficult song on the album for me to play, coupled with “Waiting for an Argument.” Not for any technical reason - I guess I just haven’t gotten enough distance from the subject matter and every time I play it, I feel emotionally drained. I’m not sure when I’ll get over that. In short without over explaining either of those pieces, they’re just songs about the shortcomings of family. I’ve been told by a handful of friends that Chemicals is their favorite.
The 23rd We’ll be returning to my hometown of San Diego to play a show at the Che cafe with some of my best friends. The 30th we’re playing at the Palisades in upland, with some of my favorite bands in the area.
The world’s a bad place and we have to fight Nazis again. If you’ve ever bothered to listen to a song I’ve written, thanks. It’s one of the few things I feel I’m good at.
