Structures
Being a very unstructured person, I desire for some structures, which would help to organise my thoughts and ideas.
That’s why I’m so inspired by the structures of poetry, native tapestry patterns, music and many more things. That’s why when I’m lost in the story, I’d like to experiment with applying a structure to it, which will be like a building material - visible or invisible. It’s good when a structure can be visible and relate to the story itself.
In the story of Moskvin, I think it can be a structure of dictionary, which he’s writing during the whole story, and the meaning of the words get changed - first slightly, then more and more awkwardly and absurdly.
Another story - about a donation of eggs from a Russian woman to Turkish couple via Dutch doctor - where all the possible things went wrong - it can be based on the motives and structures of 3 native songs, based on repetition, which struggle and interlace with each other, as well as sound together sometimes. It’s representing the genetical desire to reproduce. The strength of a national culture to survive by injecting itself in the new generations - genetically and culturally.
There are many more possibilities to apply different structures to a narrative. (to be explored more)
