I DID have a great time (so great I'm going back tonight thanks to @statementlou oop), in no small part because I got to be there with bander and @homosociallyyours and see @justanothershadeofblue after. (Also shout out to the merch table guy who said "I like your shirt better" about my Free Palestine shirt as I was buying a tour shirt I was like, me too, man, honestly)
We were in the back which was great for not being too crowded or overheated, though less great for seeing his beauty clearly with these old eyes - bless everyone posting their close up pics - but he sounded amazing and it was so loud in there! And the set and lighting and band and backup zingers were all so rad! Just great energy all around. He seemed like he was having such fun especially with the bigger, loud crowd - he was really giggly early on before it just shifted to "fuck yeah" after every song LOL.
Just overall a delight. I still can't really believe I've seen Zayn perform music live directly into my eyes and ears. Maybe tonight will make it stick, but honestly I doubt it. Definitely feel fortunate though! 💛💛
