I’m sorry I haven’t been on at all in an eternity (work has been hell 😰). But this is just a psa for everyone - Muds just rolled over and grumbled “nghhh gotta catch em all” in his sleep and he is an angel.

Okay so, still thinking about bedrooms…

There’s a room down the hall that could work, but it’s close to the kitchen, and I sleep so lightly I think Russel’s tendency to snack would be a problem. Plus it’ll smell of whatever’s been cooked, so if someone makes steak I’m gonna gag…

There’s another room on the ground floor, connected to the carpark? I’m considering it quite seriously - it has it’s own bathroom, doesn’t smell of death, and ground floors are always cooler. Also, no one else sleeps on the ground floor so it would be quiet! I wouldn’t have to worry about other people’s noise, or troubling people with my noise if I’m playing music or have friends over. I’m really leaning towards that room. (Now I just have to make sure I snap it up before someone else tries to take it…)

Sitting in bed, eating canned peaches and thinking about moving into a different room. Now hear me out:

• my bedroom is hot • still smells like Paula’s shampoo • right across from Murdoc’s room (aka rock and roll sex party central) • very hot and smells of dead things • too far away from nearest available toilets • pretty sure there’s a ghost in here • someone got sick on my carpet 😒

So there are some things to consider.

Finally reading The Zombie Survival Guide, because living here without this knowledge seems like an unnecessary risk to me.
