"Puh." Stu answered, folding his arms childishly. "The beginning of what, huh? Nothing, that's what." He didn't want to try to start again. Fresh starts around here were never truly fresh at all. It was at best a parade of smoke and mirrors until someone remembered something that caught up with them. He could never truly be somebody else. "What do you care, anyways? You'd never treat me no different, man. Even if I came in here all in a big suit and ready to talk business. You'd still see me as the kid from back then."

"Well, what do you expect me to do about it?" He shrugged, handing over the piece of paper that he'd pulled down off of a lamppost on his way over. "I mean, it could just be some kids or somethin', right? Would anyone really go out of their way to organise a buncha posters just to shit on someone? Seems excessive." He smirked, he kind of liked the theatrics of it all. At least, he did when the abuse wasn't being directed at him.

"You have the power to say anything you want to on these things, right?" Stu asked, looking all around the room to try and avoid looking at Gale. "Like, you could write a completely made up story and make everyone believe it?" he tapped his fingers together, pausing suddenly to scratch an itch on his forearm. He slapped his hand off of his arm multiple times. Smushing his palm into his sweater. "Have you ever done something like that? I mean, for the greater good, obviously."

"Y-You promise?" Stu's whole body trembled, fingers gripping onto thumbs, hands pulled tight to his chest. His face was cut up, various scratches and nicks pebbled both of his cheeks, a particularly nasty slice threatening to cause a black eye. "M-My sister and, and her friends...ever since mom died..." he started to cry, crocodile tears mixing with blood as they strayed down his torn skin. "I'm too sensitive...she says...I won't survive on my own." His chest heaved, forced hyperventilation rattling through his ribs. "I don't know what to do. Everytime I come home she-" his sobbing stole his words away conveniently. "But I have nowhere else to go!"

"What's your deal, huh?" Stu stared her out, as confused as she was. "I'm not following you, okay? I'm not breaking the promise. If anything, you're following me. What are you even doing here?" He truthfully hadn't expected to find Gale hanging around an abandoned movie theater. His abandoned movie theater. The one where he kept all of his personal assets for his big performance. "I mean it though, you can't be here, alright? Back off. And don't go crying to Sid about it either."

"Everybody’s life’s got static. is your life perfect?" (Gale & Stu)

"Are you kidding?" Stu scoffed, his fingers tapping off of the table in front of him with no real rhythm or purpose. "My life fucking sucks, man!" he laughed, but only to avoid how deeply miserable that fact truly was. "And before you start, I know that's my own fault." he raised his left hand, wagging his index finger to stop her from talking before she'd even started. "But, what am I supposed to do? Nobody wants apologies and I don't want to die, so, it's just kind of, y'know, a whole lot of nothing I can do about anything." he pouted, shrugging and sighing like a sulking child. "But, if everyone wants me to be known forever as that guy I was that night, then, I'll make that happen." he laughed, dully. "Did you get the photos?"

"Don't get up!" Stu urged, putting his hand out to try and warn her against leaving just because she'd seen him.He knew they weren't on good terms and under any other circumstance, he'd have much preferred to watch her from afar than approach her directly. But, he had things on his mind. Things that he was sure could only be answered by a select group of people. "Look, I don't want no trouble, okay?" he slipped into the chair facing her and set his hands flat on the table between them, his fingers and forearm adorned with varying band aids. "I want to ask you about something, that's all. You can handle a quick little interview, can't ya? I mean, you used to love them." his eyes went wide as he stressed her supposed affection. "I have a couple questions about what happened after I got...y'know...murdered."

"Trust me, if there's one person I'm not taking life advice from, it's probably you." Stu laughed, shaking his head. "Was that meant to be some kind of olive branch, that right there? Was that your peace offering?" he began to giggle, getting excited at how silly the idea was. "You're lucky things ain't up to me. The way you spoke to me last time we met? You'd be worm food. Total. worm. food." He looked her in the eye, taking control of the conversation. "I gave you a chance. I tried to be nice to ya, I tried. But where was your olive branch then, huh? Nowhere, that's where it was."
