Former Apprentice star Stuart Baggs died from his asthma
Apprentice star Stuart Baggs died as a result of asthma, which the 27-year-old had suffered from for many years. Police confirmed the businessman was discovered dead at his home on the Isle of Man last week. The death was "sudden and unexpected", but there was nothing "to indicate that his death is criminally suspicious", police added. Lord Alan Sugar called Mr Baggs "one of the stand-out characters of the Apprentice".
Mr Baggs had suffered from asthma for many years and died as a result of his condition.
Statement by Isle Of Man Constabulary
Mr Baggs became known as "Baggs The Brand" on the 2010 series and his quotes, such as "Everything I touch turns to sold", became famous. A statement released by the Isle of Man Constabulary said a coroner found that Baggs had died of natural causes. Mr Baggs was the youngest ever candidate on the show when he appeared aged 21 and said he had started his business career selling yo-yos in the playground. He made it to the penultimate stage, the interviews with Lord Sugar's advisers, where he was knocked out.
From the reaction we have encountered during our inquiries it is clear that this is a tragic and premature loss of such a hardworking and visionary young man.
