This is an unusual book in the Hag household in that it's a physical book that Mr Hag bought and read and has now passed to me. He goes for audiobooks almost 100% of the time - other than technical books about cameras/photography, I can only think of one other physical book Mr Hag has bought in the last 5 years.

Anyway, I've enjoyed other Stuart Maconie books I've read though it's been the best part of a decade since I last read one, so we'll see. The other factor for me though is that I really like Stuart Maconie's accent - he's from Lancashire and that's my favourite of the north west English accents, and I see he reads the audiobook of this, so that's actually a more tempting option for me.
