#stubble makeup

Does anyone know if you can buy powdered crepe hair? (or crepe hair cut into very small pieces for stubble? I call it ‘powder’ because that’s what it most closely resembles)

I use hair for stubble makeup and I really like the effect (haven’t been able to achieve anything as nice with cream eyeshadow), but it takes hours to cut the hair into powder and I can’t re-use any of it, so if I mess up the makeup and need to redo any of it, that’s a lot of work wasted. (And if I need to do costume changes in a day, I need to reapply the whole thing.)

I’ve tried looking on the mehron and ben nye websites, but haven’t found anything

Anyone have any suggestions?

I used mascara and a stipple sponge- basically just dabbed mascara onto the sponge, then made little dabby downward movements on my face over and over in layers. Then I used some dark contouring stuff to make it look more brown and soft.
