Awkward

I feel like I am in a awkward position right now. I really want to talk to her, but I feel like things will be all weird as they have been in the past. Why can I not have my cake and eat it to? I bake cakes for fuck's sake, I should be able to have everything be normal and the way I want it. I don't want to be the one who starts out the conversation though. I want her to start it, so that I know she wants some thing to change the current status our non-situation. I hate to be rejected, it is one of my biggest fears and every time I have thought I should just get over this fear, it bites me in the ass hard. As Great White once said "Once bitten, twice shy" lol. I guess in the back of my mind I know that nothing will ever be solved here, but I wish it was. I want to go back to the friendship we once had, but it likely will not happen.
