“Stubby” We have so many lizard friend in this house. This little lizard has been living in a plant in our room. I first noticed him/her basking in the heat of my laptop when I had it powered on. It’s stubby tail was just starting to grow back. A few days back I found it at the bottom of my cup in the kitchen. Since it’s always on my things I feel like it was only natural for to find my cup “lizard miles” away from “home” lol. The downside of this type of lizard is they’re not native to Hawaii and they’ve killed off so much of the local varieties. They also eat each other- they look cute but they are actually quite viscous, territorial and create quite the aviators on walls and ceilings- not a joy to clean. #lizardlife #stubbythelizard #bigislandliving #yourshitdoesntstopmefromlikingyou #lizardsregrowtails #stubbyadventures #lizardeatslizard #ripnativelizards 💓 (at Puna, Hawaii) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4dHz3lAzNu/?igshid=1a6nto29eou3c
