Toyota is the 🐝 knees

I was talking with my friends about Toyota’s gig in Eugene. It was brought up how after the Toyota experience I felt remorseful for dismissing the band as Mark Winter worship. Toyota’s recordings do no justice to the brilliant song writing squeezed out of Nick’s very enigmatic brain in addition to Keith, Dylan, and Oliver ’s precisely unorthodox,unpredictable and unique playing styles. Toyota is most commonly paralleled with The Coneheads. To do this is a disservice to yourself, because both bands are distinctly individual. Toyota plays in standard tuning and do not accelerate their tracks yet still get that dirty and creepy resonance. Their riffs even venture off into some ,what I would consider, black metal influence. The Toyota experience is a coherent concept, a band with a rhetoric much like DEVO. Catch Toyota on tour with Stucko in Canada if you want your standards to be raised.
