concept: steve rogers doesnāt actually cry much. he furrows his brow and his eyes take on a gloss and he looks determinedly away from whoever else is there, his body going tense too. steve rogers doesnāt actually cry much. but when he does, bucky barnes gets the passing sensation that his ribs are breaking and his chest is just falling all to pieces at the sight. itās been 75 years and hell and back and he still feels so /crushed/ at the sight of steve crying. thanks for attending this ted talk.
i dunno about steve but iām sure as shit sobbing MY eyes out thanks shelby
(bucky, on the other hand, is an easy crier. heās quick to anger, quick to joy, quick to tears. itās only during the war that steve finds out that it was only ever him that bucky was that open with - to everyone else, he lives behind a facade and calls it a sniperās modus operandi. and after everything, after everything, bucky cries for the first time in more than seventy years, and he does it leaning against steve and wrapped up in his arms)(thanks for allowing the addition)
