Moving to into a new home in upstate New York seemed like a dream for new parents, Steve and Bucky Rogers-Barnes. They had just adopted a daughter, working hard to build a bond with her despite her selective mutism. The house was a bit of a fixer-upper, but the land had a nice lake, tall trees, and the isolation they desperately needed after being honorably discharged from the army.

The only problem?

Something is not entirely right with Lily Rogers-Barnes.
