Since people keep asking about this I will explain everything so people can spread this around, ok? Ok!:

I’m in a gc with a bunch of Heathers rp writers who decided to create ensemble rp blogs.

Enter @blowdryking (Preston Sullivan) Preston is the Preppy Stud and he is. The fucking worst. He used too much product in his hair, is a total douche, and talks about his dick and fucking bitches all the time.

Preston’s mod (@heyyowesterberg) began to hate Preston so much (as did most people who followed the blog) she began to joke that someone should fight Preston.

Enter my first J.D. blog, @explosiveslurpeelover. I essentially joked to Nev that I would use my blog to fight Preston and this lead to a storyline where my J.D. killed Preston off by shooting him at a party over him creeping on Veronica after receiving a tip from El (@newwavepartygirl89)

In the gc El’s mod, @asianshitsandgiggles joked that J.D. and Preston should’ve made out/had sex instead of what happened in the rp canon so we’ve been running with it ever since.

Hence Studdedgun. Hence Preston Sullivan x Jason Dean. Hence fanart and fanfics and a fan page.

Preston stood in the hallway, suddenly feeling like it was closing in on him. Heather Duke glared at him, walking closer to him. She was gripping her book so tightly, he thought she was going to hit him.

He had two options: keep up his reputation in front of the second (or third..or fourth..) popular girl in school, or confess and have said reputation crumble beneath his feet.

He scoffed, trying to play cool, even though he was getting increasingly sweaty. “You calling me gay? I’m not one of those f-“

“Oh, sorry, must I rephrase?” Duke interrupted. “Are you in a sexual relationship with him then?”

Preston bit the inside of his cheek, looking off to the side, trying to be cocky but failing more and more as he kept thinking about J.D. and how fucking hot he was.

“No. I’m not into that, Duke. Stop being a paranoid slut in other people’s business.”

Veronica walked through the halls, beaming to herself. Her relationship was doing so good! Jason was the best boyfriend she could have ever asked for. He was so charming and handsome, seemingly always trying to make her happy. And boy, she didn’t find boys like him!

Veronica was still smiling during her English Honors class, writing in her diary Veronica Dean, over snd over again. Maybe he’d want her last name, though. Jason Sawyer. That sounded nice.

Her thoughts drifted from her perfect relationship with Jason Dean to the conversation she heard behind her. El and Dwight. Those two were cool, Veronica didn’t really have a problem with those two. However, they kept talking. About Preston. And eventually, about…

About J.D. and Preston. About Preston and J.D. Her pen, once lively and writing down the same four words over and over again, trailed off.

“Preston told me about Duke confronting him,” El snorted, clicking through her camera as Dwight did her work for her. Dwight sighed, “Heather Duke is smart. Maybe if she wasn’t a bitch, she’d fit right into the journalists!”

“Yeah, and join your dorky ass? No way!”

Dwight signed in annoyance. El snorted, remembering the conversation. “Duke literally asked if J.D. and Preston were in a secret relationship,” El snickered, snapping a few pictures on her camera. “Wonder how she knows.”

“Oh, maybe because we- you suck at keeping secrets!”

Veronica was just blankly staring at the paper, the names Jason and Veronica Dean written in pretty cursive. J.D.? With Preston Sullivan? Well, he’s always acted weird toward her, but it was always flirty. Was he just hiding his queerness behind a facade that he fucks girls?

She found her hands hitting J.D. with her diary in the parking lot in rage once school ended. “So you were cheating on me!” she screamed, J.D.’s attempts at stopping the hard cover failing.

“Ronnie-“

“Don’t call me that!”

J.D. glanced around. Fuck, they were getting looks. J.D. roughly grabs the diary out of her hands. “Ronnie,” he insists, “are you really believing a stoned girl and a guy known for sharing gossip?”

Veronica bit the inside of her lip, trying to get back her diary. “They know Preston, Jason. They’re friends with him, even. I don’t think they’re lying. You were cheating on me. With Preston Sullivan!”

Veronica hoped he would keep defending himself. Maybe he would convince her. And for a split second, she thought he would, his mouth opening. However, the words died in his mouth, his arms going limp.

“Veronica, I’m sorry.”

Veronica froze. She grabbed the diary, stumbling back from him in utter shock. “You- you promised,” she winced, sniffling as the tears streamed down her face. “You told me we- we would be together.”

He was too silent.

J.D. didn’t respond, eliciting her to run off. J.D. wasn’t sure how to feel. On one hand, his reputation was potentially over. On the other, he could finally be with Preston. J.D. remembered the day Preston told him he loved him. And god, bless his soul, but he might have felt the same way.

He hopped onto the motorcycle. Instead of going toward Veronica’s crying figure, his bike instinctively turned toward the road, straight for Preston’s home.

He needed him. His touch, his kisses. It’s been too long without them.
