Heather and Veronica are currently in the park, waiting for Heather and Heather to arrive. So they've been talking about literally anything for the past 8 minutes.

'You're supposed to be smart, Sawyer. Why would you jump in a mall fountain?' Heather has been finding these kind conversations with Veronica very...nice. Gross.

'It was a dare!' Veronica laughed. 'Besides, I ended up getting 20 dollars from Betty.'

Heather chuckled as she places a cigarette in her mouth. 'You're fucking weird.'

'Obviously, can't you tell?' Veronica took her own cigarette and realized... 'Hey Heather, can I use your lighter.

Heather, who had just lit her cigarette, answered. 'Well shit, I just used up its last juice.'

Veronica hummed. 'No matter. I found a way.'

'What do you-'

Heather's hearing momentarily stopped as Veronica stepped closer, using the fire from her cigarette to light hers. Not only that, she kept eye contact while doing so. Fucking eye contact.

'Thanks.' Said Veronica, not moving from where she is, not breaking eye contact either.

And for some reason, the cigarette isn't the only reason Heather's face is warming up.
