Mondale Hall is bustling this week as we welcome students for J.D. Orientation.
The Survival Handbook was produced for students of the Law School by the “Handbook committee of the student committee on student orientation” (Wayne Gilbert, Charlie Wikelius, Clarin Schwartz, and Gordy Schaller) in 1971. This humorous guidebook is full of academic and non-academic advice alike, from how to use the library to where to buy liquor. It’s amazing to see how far the library has come since 1971!
This item is featured in our upcoming exhibit about the history of legal education.
