Weird joy moment.
Today our unpatched led flyrail display spontaneously turned itself on during the rigging shift (where the light board was not turned on). No other lights changed in that moment, no one was near anything that controls lights or power, and when everything was turned off in the theatre (all of paradigm, all light switches, literally everything) it still would not go out.
Anyway, I snapped a pic of it to all of my student technicians, and within 3 min all of them responded with the name of our theatre ghost.
They have learned well.
Now back to the mystery of the yellow flyrail.
