The 'Semesterbeitrag' Explained: Where Does Your Money Go?

It's not tuition! The Semester Contribution (approx. €150-350) covers specific costs: Administration Fees, Student Union (AStA) support, Student Services (Studentenwerk) for dining/housing, and crucially, the Semester Ticket for public transport. It's a mandatory fee for enrollment.
