Why choose the University of Gloucestershire?

The small community feel was what really attracted me to the University itself. At my previous university, the school was massive and it was easy to get behind because getting in contact with the professors was often difficult and many of them did not have the same concern about how I could do better within their courses. The societies and sports teams are incredibly welcoming to anyone that wants to participate, even if you have zero previous knowledge about their particular activity. The place that the University is in is not as busy as a city like London, which allows me to have the quiet I require to get my studies done, but at the same time there is lots to do in town if I want to be involved. There are plenty of restaurants and bars that cater to students but also to a slightly older crowd if the student ‘scene’ isn’t quite your style. Everything is in walking distance if you prefer to walk or bike than take the bus, and I can easily hop on a train or a bus to get to numerous other locations.It is also close to other cool places to visit such as Birmingham, Bristol, Oxford and London and you can easily get a train or bus.
