So many people made fun of me for studying drama at A Level because it wasn't "academic" and was "just a hobby" but when they find out that's what I'm studying at University, every single one of them has told me they would rather be doing that and enjoying themselves than whatever they're doing ✌🏾️
What we say:
Students: this homework is so hard I don’t want to do it
Students: this homework is too easy there’s no point in doing it
What we actually meant:
Students: this homework is homework so I don’t want to do it
I have had to leave facebook...
...and take to here to rant about this. I cannot believe the sheer audacity of some people. I happen to have quite a strong opinion about politics and given the happenings of the past few days, I have received quite a lot of flack for this. To critisise students for having a political opinion and voice is absolutely outrageous I for one am so so happy to hear people our age have an opinion about politics, whether I agree with it or not, as I feel that it is not a common thing amoung us. This lady is questioning the future of our country, and is disappointed that we are the next generation of doctors, nurses, teachers and the like, because of our strong reaction to the death of the controversial political leader. She says we should learn compassion honesty and loyalty. I am loyal, loyal to what I believe in and expressing that. To be quite honest, I can't wait till we are that generation, and that her generation are no longer the dominating one of our society, if she thinks so little of us. Disgusting. I am fuming!!!!
