studying Karl Marx + Hegel for my sociology of the social contradictions final test on thursday. The semester is almost ending, can't wait for my vacations ❀
02.10.17 - October Study Challenge ↬ So, for the second day of the challenge, here's my weekly tasks, written everyday the night before at my planner. I like to write task in general, the meetings I have at work and what I plan to do in the afternoon. It is all colorful but the only color coding that I do is for work (neon green) and for university subjects. The rest I just pick up whatever color i feel like tbh.
Hello, everyone :)
I finally found the time to make a proper introduction! Considering that this is the first day of my second year in college, I decided to really begin this adventure that is – studyblr(ing)?–
My name is Giulia, but you can call me Giu. I’m from Brazil and I am 19 years old ( I was born in January 21st). I study social sciences at UNESP (the major is basically Sociology, Politics and Anthropology).
I love: - flowers (and that’s where I got the inspiration for my url k) - travelling - learning new things - books - series, films (specially the ones that include crime/police/investigation etc) - soccer (I actually play at my university’s team) - history - music (american country music is my favorite) - being creative and drawing, but I have 0 talent and I have the intention to practice and improve this year - buying office supplies - summer, the beach, the sun - my planner <3 - dogs, I have two of them actually -french, i’m currently in my second year of french classes as well
my favorite studyblrs are: @studyign; @hardworkign; @caffeineandcoding; @getstudyblr; @apricot-studies; @mednotes; @hermionegoals
studying (again) Karl Marx + Hegel for my sociology of the social contradictions final test tomorrow. Color Coding: ❀ yellow for title/topics ❀ orange for definitions ❀ pink for complementary info ❀ blue for dates ❀ purple for examples ❀ green for authors
supplies + my planner
04.10.17 - October Study Challenge ↬ So, talking about productivity is ok for me because I am very concerned about this.
❀ the first step that I take to make things work is to fill in my activities and obligations for the day on my planner the night before . This way, I don't waste time thinking about it instead of making things work.
❀ I also color code the most important things at my planner, like work and university subjects.
❀ i have a weekly habit tracking, and try hard to stick to it and make sure I don't forget to do daily tasks that I set up to do (like this challenge, k)
❀ there are also sites that help you to take notes on what you have to do, like todoist
❀ finally, the key is to have focus and sense of responsibility. Of course I don't want to lose my afternoon studying, or study for 1h at weekends. But is almost impossible to do everything that my subjects demands. So, if you don't have some willingness to be the best of what you do, every study time is easily skipped off. Just focus on your goal :)
