Hello there! It is freeeeezing here in Sacramento and I for one do not care for it. I grew up on the east coast, New York to be exact and it as colder there! Lately we have been experiencing a bit of colder weather and bundling has been sounding pretty good lately! So this photo of my grandchildren was taken in November just before it started getting cold and they are in short sleeve shirts…

Congrats Grad Layout with Katty Miranda
Hello friends! Katty Miranda here to share a 12×12 layout. I am scrapbooking two photos of my older son on the day of his 5th grade graduation. I love these two pictures. He looks so grown up. I began with white cardstock and an Americana stencil called Pixelated. I used a navy texture paste and the Shimmerz from the shop in Sea U in the Mornin. I also lined up the Alma Mater sequin mix with the…

Hello Layout with Katty Miranda
Hello everyone. Katty here to share another 12×12 Scrapbooking layout. Today I am scrapbooking a lovely photo taken of my neice and sister in law the day after my niece was born. I absolutely love this photo. I began with an older Pink Paislee stencil by Christy Tomlinson. I used some of my lovely Shimmerz Dazzlerz in Coral me Crazy, Dreamscicle, Pucker up Pink and Tutti Frutti and added some…

Haul: Studio Calico Grab Bags
It's time for some show and tell! I got ahold of a scrapbook grab bag and a documenter grab bag from Studio Calico's recent sale. At first I was disappointed, but I realized there are some things in here that I'd definitely use!
Scrapbook Grab Bag: There were lots of goodies including 12x12 papers, stickers, rub ons, and confetti. I'm especially excited for the neutral alphas and hints of gold. I actually haven't used alpha stickers in my project life album yet, so these will likely be going in there.
Documenter Grab Bag: This one had some great items too, like 3x4 journaling cards, 4x6 journaling cards, wood veneer, a large stamp set, ephemera, and watercolor journaling cards.
Overall, I think Studio Calico's grab bags are a great way to get a mix of supplies, and I actually prefer them to the kits for the time being. I was worried that I might get a lot of dated/seasonal items and repeats, but I was pleasantly surprised. There were only a couple papers with dates (that could be creatively covered), and one repeat item (the brown plastic alpha).
Next time I'll show you the planner kits I picked up. Since I can't use all this stuff, I'm planning a giveaway. Be sure to subscribe for updates on that!
