john’s “you gonna sing or aintcha?”
versus
paul’s “you know how to sing it. you know how to do it”
Robert’s laugh will definitely lift your mood, so give it a listen!
I found some obscure studio chatter with Tom, Stevie, and the boys. Figured someone on here would enjoy it as much as I do.
What's your favorite "studio chatter" in a tpath song? (I.e. Marcie in the beginning of even the losers, or whatever they're saying in the beginning of all mixed up). I'm curious to know.
These boys are just precious- I live for studio chatter like this! Just a few seconds of their voices and I feel instantly transported, my body reeling.
(But you gotta turn it up really loud, I couldn’t even hear it clearly from my laptop)
Studio chatter makes my heart sing. This is another gem, imo.
Radio Studio Chatter: Out-takes & Mis-takes by Josh Edge on Mixcloud
Studio Chatter is what happens between the tracks you know and love - the offhanded comments, jokes, arguments and bum notes that are sliced from history and left discarded on the editing floor. This is a random collection of the bits of noise, mistakes, offcuts and audio ephemera that form an alternate history of some of music's biggest bands. From Howlin' Wolf teaching Eric Clapton how to play, to Paul McCartney's early sketches for Helter Skelter and James Brown beatboxing for his backing band, this is just a bit of Studio Chatter.
