Fluffynightkiller Chill Night
Tonight was going to be special for him and his new boyfriends, it was the anniversary of their first date! Though he kinda wasn't an official addition to Nightmare and Killer's relationship back then, Ccino always considered it to be the first day of their relationship together. He somehow managed to make his schedule clear on one of the few days that Night and Killer had only a few hours to work for the day. He had been planning this for a while, but was uncertain if there would be time between his job at the studio's café and studying. Thankfully, he finished his studies for the week early and had been lucky to be given the rest of the day off.
But he was now having some self-doubts, what if they didn't consider today the anniversary of their first official date? And he did all this just for them to not like it? The meowing of Sansy, his cat, shook him from his thoughts. He smiled at the little furball, "Thanks, you're right, I'm thinking too hard on this. I should relax." Oh, look at him, talking to his cat again as if it could speak back to him. But he knew he had to make dinner and set things up before Nightmare and Killer came over at the time he asked them to. So he started by making a simple chicken parmesan and boiling some water for the pasta that he chose to go with it.
An hour later, the meal was all prepared and ready to serve. When he checked the time, he saw that his boyfriends should be arriving in about thirty minutes, so set about getting his dining table prepared. He had scrounged enough money to get a good tablecloth and a few candles while still affording rent, college fees, and his regular groceries. He had pulled a lot of extra shifts to prepare for today, and it payed off. Nightmare and Killer had been a bit worried for him when they saw how tired and stressed he looked, but he assured them that he was doing fine.
Just as he finished lighting the candles, he heard Killer's signature knock on his door that meant that Nightmare and Killer had arrived. "Just a minute!" Ccino finished making sure that it all looked good, but then realized that he was still in work clothes. He kinda panicked, torn between letting his boyfriends in now or making them wait until he changed into more date-worthy attire. He knew his work attire wasn't exactly bad, but at the same time, he wanted to look at least kinda like he was prepared for a romantic dinner. He decided to let them in, he could let them get comfortable while he was changing.
He goes to the entrance and opens the door, and is immediately grabbed and kissed by Killer. He immediately forgets his plan for tonight for a minute as he just melts into the kiss, but Killer helps keep him standing while Nightmare is standing there behind Killer. He knew Killer was going to do that, and he won't deny that he was eager to do the same since it's been a bit since they were in a private setting. He looked into the apartment, and noticed how clean it was(or at least cleaned up more than usual, there was usually a few changes of clothes on the couch/chairs). "Huh, you cleaned up more. What's the occasion?"
Killer pulled back to see what Night meant, giving Ccino time to catch his breath. "Huh, Midnight is right, it looks cleaner than you usually keep it." "I told you to stop calling me that." "Sure Moon." "Killer!" They started bickering, again, which Ccino took the opportunity to slip away real quick while they went at it. He was lucky, it looked like this one was leading to how it usually did, with those two kissing. He changed into clothes that he deemed more fit to this occasion, a clean collared shirt and pants, but better than his work clothes. He hesitated a bit before going back to the living room with his boyfriends, a little nervous about what they'd think of what he's wearing and the dinner.
He re-enters the living room and, yep, they're kissing. He doesn't want to interrupt them, but he does want to show them what he had planned for tonight. He coughs, gaining their attention, and they part from each other, remembering that they're still with company and notice that he's changed between when they got there to now. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I did have something planned for tonight for us. It's just in the kitchen/dining room area over here." He was surprised he got all that out without stuttering or anything, especially with how they're looking at him.
Nightmare and Killer followed Ccinoto the dining table, and were really impressed and shocked with how well put together this all was. "Not that we don't appreciate this, Marshmallow, but what's the occasion?" "W-Well, this time last year was when we had our first date, and while it technically wasn't the official, uh, start of our relationship, i-it still meant a lot to me. So I thought I'd do this as a sorta anniversary date thing. But if you think it was later, we can totally do something then if there's an opportunity to do it with our schedules. I actually managed to make sure today was free for the afternoon and managed to budget enough to afford some of this stuff..."
Nightmare interrupted his rambling with a kiss(before Killer could do the same, you had your kiss first!), which had as much of an effect as the kiss Killer gave him earlier. As they parted, Nightmare told him, "Hey, if you thought it was important to remember and do something for us, then it's important to us as well. Let's enjoy the night, this was a really nice surprise." "Yeah, this is really sweet. Now I feel a little bad we didn't get you anything." "Oh, no no, you just being here with me is all I could ask for!" "Nah, we're spoiling you tomorrow!" "Killer no, it's fine." "Killer yes, back me up Nighty." "We'll only spoil you a little, I know you don't like us spoiling you too much, so I'll keep Killer from going too overboard."
Ccino sighed in resignation, he usually refuses the offers of money and anything that was too expensive(at least to him), mostly because he felt guilty just receiving gifts without being able to give back something of equal value. But, he supposes that he can let it go this once. "Fine, I guess I wouldn't be able to stop you from getting me stuff, but nothing too expensive, okay?" Nightmare nodded, "Of course, I promise we won't get you anything that will make you uncomfortable." "Ok. I suppose we should eat this before it gets cold." Killer perks up, "Oh yeah, this was a romantic dinner! Though, what's for dessert?~"
Ccino's face erupted in blush, "I-I, well, uh, ..." He froze up, not able to answer. "Darn it, Killer, you broke him again." Nightmare helped Ccino to a seat at the dining table and sat him down. Then proceeded to smack Killer across the top of his skull(not too hard, just enough to hurt a bit). "Hey!" "That's for ruining the nice moment." They sat as well, but waited until Ccino was functional again, who then served them their meals. They ate and had a nice conversation despite Killer's flirty comments sprinkled in. After the meal, Night and Killer convinced Ccino to relax and Nightmare cleaned the dishes. They ended the night watching movies until they fell asleep, cuddling on the couch the whole time.
