Beautiful Mural in Belfast Tells a Story of Rebirth

Dutch duo Studio Giftig made their way to Belfast for the annual Hit the North street art festival and left behind a stunning showcase of their talents. Niels van Swaemen and Kaspar van Leek worked together on a piece that paid homage to the history of the building on which it was painted. Belfast Spring is part of a new series where the pair surround their characteristic portraiture with flying objects as a way to soften the composition and add movement.

Towards a circular society, we need to be more creative regarding waste. A woman at first sight dressed in gracious clothing appears to be made up of trash. The woman moves surrounded by a dark colored environment, towards a luminous globe made up of waste materials, as a reference to recycling as an answer in times of a changing environment/climate.

All materials used in the clothing and globe come from the recycling process of the client behind this wall, CVB Ecologistics that recycles paper, plastic and textiles.
