"Sun Speak II is an interactive light and sound installation that reacts to voices. Upon entering the exhibition, visitors notice a glowing tube bridging the balcony and ground floor near the center of the room. Its colors and intensity are driven by microphones located inside the tube at each end.
Visitors are invited to sing, speak, or yell into either end of the tube to create new light patterns traveling from one end to the other. The colors of the light beam change according to the pitch of the voices. As visitors harmonize with each other, so too do their colors in the tube. When visitors sing in unison and match their pitches, the color of the tube is unified."
