New Evangelion anime announced!

News - During the 30th Anniversary celebration for Evangelion in Japan, it was announced that a new anime is being produced by Studio Khara (in partnership with Cloverworks). The new anime will have script supervision by Nier creator Yoko Taro, directors & Eva alum Kazuya Tsurumaki & Toko Yatabe, and music by Nier composer Keiichi Okabe. A teaser trailer was released as well, which you can watch above! No release date or cast details yet, but of course I'll update once that changes.

New Evangelion series by NieR creator Yoko Taro announced - Gematsu

A brand-new Evangelion series written by NieR series creator Yoko Taro and scored by NieR composer Keiichi Okabe is currently in production, animation studios Studio Khara and CloverWorks announced on the final day of the “Evangelion:30+; 30th Anniversary of Evangelion” festival today.

The series’ staff includes:

Director: Kazuya Tsurumaki, Toko Yatabe

Composer: Keiichi Okabe

Production: Studio Khara x CloverWorks
