Rewatched Promare on blueray with my friends again, still a fantastic movie, if you love Studio Trigger you love it.
The story is paperthin and the twist are so obvious, and yes like trigger tends to do, they make up stuff along the way but Trigger knows how to make engaging characters and animation that you can forgive the simple story. It's the excution and character interaction that makes it so fantastic.
