Investigation + Proposal

I’m curious about the nature of people’s emotional statements. Some are often critical to oneself or to society. Many of them are sarcastic, but there’s always a bit of truth to it. Whether I want to extract that or not, I’m not sure. First I want to start collecting these quotes, my sources mainly from social media platforms. Maybe I should sort them out by “nature.” I want to start materializing my accrued data in collage form.

This is kumamon, but that's not what's important. He suggested what to do when you feel alone, and I've never really thought exploring the behavior of lonely people, going into their habits

I thought the use of semi-transparent paper and seeing text on just nontraditional sheets of paper is cool. Exploring different mediums to print on, like semi transparent paper or maybe full on transparent paper could work with the idea of non-existence

Jack mentioned a book on Hippie counterculture of the 80's called How to Disappear from America. I think that's the title. Its this idea disappearing from existence and creating this whole new life for yourself, in this case adapting to a hippie culture. I can see the action of detaching from something, in this case society

This might be unrelated, but this is a screenshot of the American Nomads documentary. Nomadic and transient people aren't exactly alone, but they have left many of their love ones to travel. I just think it's an interesting lifestyle

I see sarcastic things like these online all the time. What types of sayings can I find similar to these online? I know there are tons of them. The internet is full of sad lonely people
