After 6 months preparing a complex visual commentary on civil rights, Hurricane Katrina, and the Black experience BMike opened his 35,000 sq ft New Orleans studio to the public in early 2016. An activist artist who is the recipient of an NAACP Image Award BMike's exhibit has gained national attention and drawn visitors from around the world. With a stunning mural of a young African American girl painted on the front of his studio facing Royal St in the Bywater neighborhood, BMike balanced that with this ode to creativity on the back, facing Dauphine St.  @bmike2c/
