Got a new laptop to replace my aging Dell Latitude E5400. I replaced my old laptop with this used Dell Latitude E6530 with Intel HD 4000 & Dedicated Nvidia NVS Quadro 5200m graphics, a Intel Core i7-3540M(2 Core/4 Thread, 4MB L2 Cache @ 3Ghz), 8GB of DDR3 Ram, & a 256GB SSD, off of Ebay for about $150 plus about $20 shipping & handling. 💻💻💻💻 The main reason I got it was because my old laptop was starting too have overheating issues & was very limited in what it could do. I couldn't do any video editing on it because it had old Intel GMA 4500HD graphics. It took like several hours just to render a 480p five minute video. I also couldn't run OBS either. So I chose to get something that could not only handle music production & basic video production on the go but that would also last me a few good years. So I'll be able to get videos up too you guys faster & more songs released sooner, along with being able to work on bigger projects more efficiently on the go. Also for things outside of music like GED, college, & work related stuff when I start working(I plan on trying to dive into world of IT as a normal job along side music). 😊😊😊😊 My Dell E5400 served me well but it's now time to retire that old laptop. I plan on making this new Dell Latitude E6530 my main laptop for the next 3 or 4 years with upgrades. Let's see how this computer serves me these next few years.
