It's pretty complicated for me to be a student since I can't have concentration when I want ; and it was pretty complicated back at the time. I would spend time doing whatsoever I wanted without working ; and then overworking at night because of culpability.
So I found a little strategy to made me work when I want.
Putting myself a specific hours "in 10 minutes I go work" so I can stay a lill longer on what I'm doing
(work only if you are Okey with studying)
Having hot tea or coffee, so I work until it's cold and/or finished. Then I can get up and walk to made another one (reminder : 3 cup of coffee a day, no more. And eat, cause coffee on empty stomach isn't at all good)
No taking note of my note ; loose to much time on it. I highlight my own note (less aesthetic but more efficient in time for me)
No more than an hours by hours
Listen to music ; because I've always got music in my head that it's stuck, I can't focus. So I always need background music, and smooth jazz and rain work a lot better for me. Especially when I already l kw the Playlist so I'm not discovering new music and I can only focus on my cours
I let myself going on my phone time to time cause it's a way for my brain to say it can't focus more. I let myself having pauses during that whole hours of study otherwise I wouldn't want to go back to study
I'm not working more than two or three hours a day ; and between 12 and 14 so I know I have a full day left
I'm not that strict ; it's not working for me that way

Btw great exemple : I'm posting it whuike thinking "in 5 minutes I'll work". So by posting that, I'm made myself sitting in front of my computer, already writing and typing, and I'm ready to work.
