in a more serious note ; Evil Morty lost his eye due to his original Rick who was horrifically abusive and neglectful to Moe. This would be back where evil Morty was more of a emotional creature, more Morty than he is currently.

Something ends up happening to Moe's rick which then leads Evil morty to be put into the Morty adoption agency, which then he's basically loaned out to every shitty Rick who is unable to keep their morties alive, or doesn't care about the wellbeing OF their morties, which then in turn is why Moe is so engraved in this idea that all Ricks are demented and evil and inherently corrupted because he's experienced nothing but bad Ricks again and again. It's why he doesn't believe C137 is different, he's seen how Rick treats morty, all of them, but it also explains why after this most recent episode he finally takes a step back to recognize that ' you are different than the others, maybe I can use that' .

Morty as we see in canon ends up basically having enough, I wouldn't be surprised if being passed around so much enforced an idea in trying to be MORE than a Morty, and being so used to being alone and isolated and mistreated that he enforced and attempted to become smarter than those who continued to harm him.

I will die on the Hill that Evil morty is genuinely smarter than Rick, Morty prime is the mortiest Morty, But Evil morty is the Rickest Morty and for that he's labeled Evil. If you cut off the thing that makes morties MORTY , the compassion, the bred forgiveness and kindness - the willingness and devotion to forgive, you end up with Evil Morty who has basically lost all those qualities that make him what would be a morty. And I'm not saying EM doesn't have those anymore, he just knows how to ignore the basically programmed roots and ideations of how morties should be. For he's not even a morty in his own eyes. He's something bigger.

He wants Rick to die, but he doesn't want to explicitly be the one to pull the trigger unless provoked. Evil morty is keeping everyone at arm's length with a gun pointed at their heads ( the omega device ) but doesn't want to use it because all he craves and desires is to be left alone.

People claim evil morty went through the exact same as any other morty, but what we see is the tipping point, we don't see the constant or WHAT Morty goes through, we just see what's the last straw, which debatably is enough to see EM wasn't treated fairly. Especially when he falls to the ground and flinches , arms over his head to protect him from what he expects as physical retaliation. For evil morty that is a sign that he hasn't just gone through mental abuse , but physical as well.

thinking about how much taeju does for the organisation and how capable he is:

we see him actively training the recruits in the gym as well as being involved with running the cage fights and disciplining the members

he is already investigating the new drug when mj brings it up.

he is the one who knows when the boat came in and where it's docked. then he explains the manufacturing process to mj on the boat, also knowing where the lab itself is and telling him.

he's always between mujin and the threat, even almost setting himself on fire to make sure he gets to safety first.

he's the one tasked to find the rat who got the cops to the ship.

he brings up the issue of trusting jiwoo several times before it even becomes an actual issue.

jiwoo only mentions 3 cameras, taeju takes all of them down.

when the gym is attacked he sustains 1 little cut to his lip after before gangjae gets him at fucking machete point - like he literally fought off multiple men with knives and hammers with only his fists and only gives up his leverage when the men are threatened further.

he's wearing a chief mourner / host band at the funeral (two stripes) even though it's clear that actual family members are there. mujin isn't wearing a band at all.

mujin tells him to find gangjae. he says it's dangerous to move bc of the cops but does it anyway.

he is the one who knows when the other orgs arrive he is the one holding them back waiting for instructions.

he is the one sent to calm the buyers down while they work on rebuilding their product. he has enough sway with them to be downright threatening without losing their business, and they all look scared of him.

he goes to see who is blackmailing them. he doesn't stay to talk to the cops but it still could have cost him his life. proving that he was right to say it was dangerous to move. just not for the reasons he had in mind
